And I don't mean just break one a game or so, because I already do that. I mean the kind of strength where RB's break four tackles on the way to a 60 yard TD.

Who's got an extremely high-strength WR? How successful has he been breaking tackles? I realize CB's all have really high speed so the force on impact is greater than the average DL or LB (so tougher to break tackles), but does anyone have a play where their WR broke 3 DB tackles on the way to the end zone?

I'm soft capped strength and carrying at WR and my guy doesn't break tackles. Perhaps if you added soft capped speed and or agility to the equation you might have better luck. I'm not convinced capping strength is worthwhile, you need just enough to stay ahead of the corners.

Tackle breaking ability was nerfed last season so to use your strength you need high speed to build momentum to break tackles.

When 50 plus strength HB get tackled by corner backs then I'm not sure if it is worth having a receiver with that much strength. Better to focus on the speedster evasive SA to avoid the tackler rather than trying to run over them.

i seem to be breaking less tackles than i did last year as well... kinda built one of my WRs to be the power runner type

My WR has decent strength and breaks a few tackles here and there. I'm satisfied with his performance.

My str WR has 50+ Str and can break tackles at will, you just need to get a fair few receptions. I think its worth it in the long run

50 is a bit much. I'm training my WR's str now to 35 or so. I won't waste any SP's on it.

Assuming Will is a punter with 8 in strength and tackling.

20 broken tackles isn't breaking tackles at will.

Its really not.

lol tbh I was pretty drunk when I posted this, and thus isnt my most intelligent statement. However when he gets a short pass and gets a step to run into a CB more often than not he will break a tackle. It all depends on where the CB is in relation to him when he receives.

My WR seems to be breaking more tackles per reception with less strength and more carrying.
