It's the first ability on the elusive tree. Was thinking this could be good for a power back (I'm sure someone has some points in it as a power back) and could help the HB get through the hole a little quicker without losing momentum. What say you?

IF breaking tackles is based off Str and momentum it would make sense to maintain as much momentum as you can. This is just a guess as my Power back is too young to have real experience with it.

if you look at Marion Barber(who is widely considered a powerback) he makes a lot of quick cuts without losing much speed when he plays.

It's important to maintain momentum, I use it on my power back. Speed is part of the formula, and quick cut helps you stay at a high speed. Same with first step but I'm not about to invest that many SPs... maybe 3 eventually to get it up to 2, but idk how much of a difference that'd make.

Make sure you stick to the most beneficial SAs. If you think the power SAs will benefit more than getting up your QC I would do that. Get your speed/agility to decent levels before investing in elusive SA. Think momentum and SAs. I can help more if you PM me bro, teammates are there to help

I just remember getting 60 agility on my FS, not seeing much ability in changing direction and not losing speed. Then on my FS I got change direction up around 2-4 and it greatly improved.

I also use it for my power back he's a higher level power back.

Hmm well if you have first hand experience of this then maybe it would be worthwhile. QC is definitely a very handy HB SA.

My Power Back has a few points into both Quick Cut and First Step (and 2 in Head Fake, but he doesn't use it being a Power Back), and he's currently leading the League USA AA #2 in Rushing Yards and TDs.
I'm not saying that he is leading the league BECAUSE OF the points in Quick Cut and First Step, but it helps him get up speed faster and keep that speed up if he needs to change directions.
