... for joining the bottom half of the West in the "Fuck It Up For Everyone" Sweepstakes. I was against realignment until we actually got our first shot at a gutted team. It is pitiful.

Defenders? Shit, our entire offense nearly broke every conceivable offensive record ... and I benched all the starters.

Nah, it wouldn't be a season without us backing into the playoffs and then getting annihilated in the first round. If you want in, you'll just have to follow that same blueprint yourself!!!

Not either teams fault, you need to thank Bort for the way the system is setup. Luckily he is changing it. However we were all new team owners at one point and had to start fresh.

Very good point. I dont think any of us could set up a winning team in half a season

Yes, but we had managed to avoid the gutted teams for three seasons now; the West had been the unfortunate recipients of as many as six of them.

And, quite honestly, yes we could. We could because we would try. A couple of teams in here became competitive overnight. You think the Launch just suddenly started sucking out of nowhere. No, everyone caught up and surpassed us. We were around in Season 1, we got a head start. But, in as little as half a season, teams started walloping us. It happens when you try.
These two aren't even trying; one less than the other. Baltimore is slow-building, the most anti-competitive practice you can find: a practice only non-sports fans would enjoy. Even if their intention is to eventually win some games, they are only leaving themselves a three-season window to do so before players pass their primes.
And, of course, the sim is to blame. I had a fullback gain more yards on one play that he has in his past 13 or so. 138-0. Fucking retarded. Do you know how hard I worked on trying to NOT blow them out like that? When I clicked on "SHOW SCORE", I was hoping it was 63-10 or some shit.
Someone - who won't even read this far - will come in here and yell at me; telling me to calm down or some shit. Perhaps I should. But, considering how much time most of us on GLB spend on this game, we (or, at least, I) don't appreciate walkovers.

Im just glad to see my OT with that many pancakes. I think he had more pancakes in this one game than he did in his entire career

I'll give you that maybe a SELECT FEW people can turn a gutted team into a contender in a league with teams that have been together for 4 or 5 seasons, in half-a-season. But the task is nearly an impossible, I have been building my team for two seasons and we still get whipped daily. I beat the other teams that started with me, but we are no match for teams that have been together since season 1. Recruiting is nearly impossible, because no matter what you tell FAs they always look at your record and sign with winning teams. Many players don't re-sign because they would rather go to winners and have big stats. Plus, I haven't been playing since season 1, so I don't have an extensive friends list of people willing to send me high ranking playrs that aren't getting PT on their teams. Beef with the slow-builds is one thing, but when Bort hands you a gutted team in a good division you do the best you can.

I agree with Trendon.
We went from 0-16 with 24 INACTIVE players in Season 3.
To 5-16 last year...I think mostly due to the chemistry hit from turning over all the inactive players.
To a legit contender this year @ 10-2. It can happen very quickly.

I am looking forward to tomorrow. We have yet to play a gutted team and we would like to pad our stats like everyone else has. People getting 50+ pancakes in a game, that is more than our top player for all season.
I guess there is little anyone can do about it at this point.
