Here is my idea for the pro bowl, because you can't base it off of stats alone. it needs to be accounted for if the player only gets 25 plays per game because their offense is so damn good.


1. A pro bowl nomination committee is assembled. These people need to be unbiased and not just pick their players because that’s how it has been every single season.

2. Each committee member nominates 5 players at each position the players with the most votes at that position get stuck in the public voting pool ( http://www.polldaddy.com/p/996381/ ) see the link for an example

3. Votes are casted and tallied so everyone can clearly see them.


This system will not allow multiple votes from the same IP address; that will help with cheaters; This will also determine 2nd and 3rd team pro bowlers; and then the 2 last place players would be honorable mentions.

Let me know any input.

Didn't we try something like that last season and only have 5 people vote total?

I understand about the stats for a D that only has 50 snaps a game vs a D that was 90.

i think that this idea can be formed with a formula found in that other thread

Never heard of it...is it close to London?

What about them? They're in the other conference. Two conferences, two pro-bowl teams.

How about this idea. Have maybe 10 or more people from the OTHER confrence vote on a BLANK ballot and someone will tally the vote. Thoughts?

Problem is, almost nobody votes. Same problem we've had every year.
