1 (1)- Rotterdam Roughnecks 10-1 - The Roughnecks still not showing any chinks in the armor as they won comfortably over Multiple Scorgasm 35-13. The Scorgasm kept within striking distance for three quarter before the Roughneck decided enough of that shit, and score three touchdowns in the 4th quarter to put the game out of reach. Again the Roughneck shows good balance on offense, both running and passing effectively against a good Scorgasm defensive unit.
Player of the game: HB Gabriel Knight with 84.5 yards on 20 carries and three toughdowns.

Next week @ Stockholm Meatballs - Roughnecks will get a chance to lock up the no.1 seed as they get the Meatballs and the Destroyers two weeks from now.

2(3) - Stockholm Meatball 9-2 - While the Roughnecks have the most complete offense, the Meatballs are knownn for their powerful running game behind HBs Mal Brown and The Glow as well as strong OL. They were able to control the clock and the tempo of the game as they out lasted the Aggies 27-24. As expected, the Aggies chose not to challenge the stout Meatball run defense and took to the air to move the ball. They were able to get within 3 late in the fourth but was unable to stop the Meatballs from running out the clock. Player(s) of the game: HBs Mal Brown and The Glow both broke the century mark and average over five yards a carry.

Next week vs. Rotterdam Roughnecks - big game here, this could be for the no. 1 seed.

3(2) - Frankfurt Heat 9-2 - Had one of their most complete game of the season and lost. Was effective moving the ball both on the ground and in the air. Their defense to have no answer for the Pimps' aerial attack, perhaps they were expecting a return to a ground control game. Player(s) of the game: Heat's OL which gave up no sacks and opened up hole for their backs which averaged 5.1 a carry. The Heat Ol is 2nd only to the Roughnecks and Destroyers in sacks allowed and if you add hurries, they would be no.1.

Next week @ PPP Longnecks - a missed PAT is a bad way to lose a game, the Heat will need to put this behind them so they can hold onto a top 4 seed.

4(5)- Rivals Mainboard Pimps 8-3 - The Pimps seem to like to live on the edge recently as they narrowly avoided a 4th overtime game when Heats kicker Jackie Moonie misses the PAT that would've tied the game late in the fourth quarter. For the second straight game, the Pimps goes with a pass heavy gameplan and it pays off again. You have to wonder if they are wasting the talented HB tandem of Lee Suggs and Graig Cooper who combined for only 16 carries this game. Player of the game: Phillip Pohl who completed 37 of 55 passes for 318 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. The Pimps put it in his hand the last couple of game and he has delivered.

Next week vs. Paris Musketeer, Pimps is in good shape as they now hold tie breakers over Korb and Frankfurt and if either one of those team slip up, the Pimps will get a home playoff game.

5(4) - Korb Destroyers 9-2 - Bounced back nicely in a solid win over the PPP Longnecks, 34-17. Not a lot of offensive fireworks in this one and thats to be expected from two very methodical offense that likes to grind out victory. PPP, as is their habit of late seem to not be able to score much until the final quarter, it was not enough this game as Korb was able to put the game away with some 4th quarter scoring of its own. Player of the game: FS John Lynch with four tackles, one pass defensed and two fumble recoveries. Also scored the defensive TD that put away any hope of a comeback for the Longnecks.

Next week at Reykjavik Aggies - what happened to the Aggies? too much time in the strip clubs with hot icelandic hoes?

6(6) - MA Trolls 8-3 - Make that 8 in a row, as the Trolls wins comfortably over a Stampede team that looks to be in disarray. The Trolls never allowed the Stampede to get any rythme on offense as they sacked Stampede QB Gunn Slinger 7 times and picked him off once. Player of the game: Trolls QB who was 25/36 for 262.5 yards and three touchdowns.

Next week @ Copenhagen Cowboys, should run their streak to 9 until they get the Pimps the week after.

7(7) - Porto Reconquista 6-5 - Porto took care of business beating Oslo Beserker 41-23. Porto basically ran Oslo over, out rushing the Beserkers 264 to 62. With a 6-5 record, the Reconquistas can control their own destiny as far as playoff goes if they can keep taking care of business.

Next week vs. Multiple Scorgasm, this is a big game for both teams.

8(unranked)- Multiple Scorgasm 5-6 - Despite losing big to the Roughnecks, the Scorgasm moves up the standing simply because they are in the best position of the teams sitting a 5-6. They hold head to head tie breakers over the PPP Longnecks, Reykjavik Aggies and Paris Musketeers with games against Porto and Rohrheim coming up. With that said, they need to find some offensive consistency, especially against the better teams in the conference. Roughneck was able to hold them to 55.5 rushing yards and under 250 yards total. Player of the game: LB Gone Tribal had a busy day chasing down Roughneck ball carriers with 15 tackles and one forced fumble.

Next week at Porto Reconquista, both teams are fighting for the last couple playoff spots and this game will go a long way to determining that.

Bubble Teams

Rohrheim Stampede 5-6 - have lost four straight, good news is they get Valencia next.
PPP Longnecks 5-6 - gets another top tier team in the Heat, needs this win bad.
Reykjavik Aggies 5-6 - another team with four straight losses, the tie breakers don't favor them, are they done?
Paris Musketeer 5-6 - having a resurgence of sorts but is it too little too late?

It has to do with the financial crisis. The Aggies haven't been paid in weeks, so they're probably just trying to make a statement...
