Hey guys,

My first TE. I'm wondering what you all think is the most successful way to build? Lots of speed? Catching? Jumping I heard if good. Vision? Strength?

Any advice would be great, I've got 40 SPs to spend.

Thanks guys!

Like I said before.
Define "success".

Anyways, are you making a blocking or receiving TE?

I was going to go with blocking, but I've heard that's not the way to go since TEs run more patterns than they do block. So I guess I'll go with receiving with 25 strength or so.

I'm thinking what I'll do is (sort of working backwards but).. Neglect vision and only bring agility to 25-30 (not softcap).. I've heard jumping is good, so maybe get that to 25-30. Speed 48, catching 35ish. Blocking I'm not really sure..

IDK, just looking for advice from TE owners.

You should try to get speed, agility, and maybe catching to the soft cap.

These are your major and minor skills:

TE
Major: Strength, Blocking, Catching, Vision
Minor: Agility, Speed, Confidence, Carrying, Stamina, Tackling

Because you're going to go with receiving, you should train more strength instead of blocking.

Strength is a multi-purpose stat.

Soft cap speed, soft cap agility, soft cap catch. You should soft cap catching first because you gain the most per level up on it.

Dont spend any points on strength or blocking just training.

Vision is important try to get it to around 30, Get jump to around 40.

All of this will take a while, but it works. Put all equipment onto speed.
