Are there any DE's that have a good build with good stats but yet have little to no SA's? I'm almost convinced SA's do very little.

Yes, but the staying power for those builds are not very long.
You'll see a full season of quality production at most. After that, you need to invest in specials or you're just going to improve slower than OTs are.

Yes there are. Not mine, so I can't share builds, and even this may be pushing it, but my guys with tons of points into SA's do less than theirs with not tons.

You pretty much need SA's to be a good, consistent pass rusher.
