Well you shut down our running game....getting up early helped with that...but we still gave you your closest game to date this season. Looks like it's going to be hard for us to make the playoffs this season.

The worst yall will finish is 9-7, you will probably make the playoffs. The pick 6 that was taken off a bobble by our WR made it look closer than it was. But yall are a solid team dont get down with the last 3 losses.

In fact, I will tell you that you have a better chance at making the playoffs than Cincinnati

Lets break it down places 5-10

5. Greek Fire (7-3) and 5 points away from 9-1 very impressive

2 Cupcakes/Gut Jobs
1 Tossup, should be close but I think they will beat Cincinnati
3 Very tough games, its doubtful that they win these

So they end probably 10-6 Edit: Actually its very important for them to beat Cincinnati, or else there will be a major logjam at 9-7 and Cincinnati will jump both Greek and Demoniak, because they will have wins over both of the other tied teams.

6. Dogdandy Dragons (6-4)

2 Gutted teams
1 Lighter team
3 Solid but not unwinnable games (this is where yall are)

They for certain get no less than 9 wins, they could win all their games and be 12-4, but I figure that one of Cincinnati, Demoniak or Chernobyl beats them and they win at least one of those, so they are 11-5 to 10-6, they finish ahead of Greek Fire, because even if they only win one of those 3, they have the head to head over Greek

7. Cincinnati Tigers (6-4)

2 Likely Wins
2 Tossups (Greek and Dogdandy)
2 Likely Losses (Prague and Detroit)

I think 10 wins makes the playoffs and that means that Cincinnati needs to win against both Greek and Dogdandy to get in, with some luck I think it might be possible to squeak 7th or 8th with 9 wins, I think that depends on Chernobyl I will have to look.

8. Demoniak Piggies (5-5)

2 Games they should win easily (Silesia, Solntsevskaya)
2 Games they should also win, but it might be closer (Washington, Leningrad)
2 Games that could be a tossup (Dubai, Dogdandy)

To ensure the playoffs all you need to do is win the games I believe you should and then to be really sure youve made it in, you need to beat Dogdandy or Dubai, but that isnt necessary, worst case is likely 9-7, which you really dont want, because if Cincinnati ends up at 9-7, they have the tiebreaker on you.

9. Chernobyl Mutants (5-5)

2 Likely wins (Minsk, Budapest)
1 Possible win (Leningrad)
3 Tougher games (LRC, Dubai, Dogdandy)

I can see them winning the first 3, but with their losses to Demoniak and Cincinnati, it would be a real miracle for them to make the playoffs this season. That means that they would have to beat 2 in the last group, its possible, but not likely, I see them as a solid 9th and they continue to improve next season, they are right there, but improvements next season might come too soon for this team.

10. Leningrad Iron Fists (5-5)

2 Likely Wins (Helsinki, Budapest)
2 Possible Wins (Chernobyl, Croatian)
2 Tougher Games (Demoniak, Kazan)

This really depends on how much the situation with Leningrad goes downhill before their last 3 games, if they go much more downhill Croatian has more of a chance. Chernobyl, Demoniak and Kazan are already likely losses. With their win over Cincinnati, they could squeak into 8th place if they win 4 games, as sad of a situation as that is. But more likely they will win 2-3 and end up in 9th or 10th.

Thanks for laying this out. I was trying to keep track of all this in my mind, but all I could figure out is that unless we beat Cinci I'm going to have a real headache figuring out how these playoff spots are going to go down. Is the next determiner total points scored if for example there were 3 or 4 teams all with wins over each other?

in the event of the 3-way tie, I believe it goes to points scored. Pretty sure that's what had us play Helsinki a couple seasons ago...the 1st time we were booted in the 1st round.
