In my opinion this is how it shakes out

Alpha Pro (Keep 6 to 7)
NFL, Detroit, Vilnius, GCP, RAR, Kazan and maybe Demon Brigade
Notes: Demon Brigade is iffy if psychonaut can keep them together, he has hurricane Ike issues, if not, then they might fall fast.

Zeta Pro (Keep 9)
SGA, Prague, LRC, Dubai, Cincinnati, Greek, Dogdandy, Demoniak, Chernobyl
Notes: The "iffy" teams, Cincy, Greek and Chernobyl have recently all added a lot of firepower, they need another year in Pro.

AAA (4)
Washington, USSR Goons, Croatian, Solntsevskaya
Notes: I believe these teams would be competitive in AAA, but they are not in Pro

AA (4-5)
Wroclaw, Amsterdam, Minsk, Budapest, Leningrad

A/Gutted Level (7-8)
Helsinki,Silesia,Scotch,Sarajevo,NY Knights,Barger Hill,Dubrovnik, Leningrad could be down here as well

Do yall agree? disagree? Im trying to see what tiers the league could be moved to so that we could do this across the region.

Ok, in trying to better the Fire I missed something.... what happened to Leningrad? Looks like they are losing players... gutting mid year or expiring contracts?

Greek definitely belongs. They would be top 3-4 in Alpha

Expiring contracts and an owner that has never recruited heavily, since Hoser took over for tpat, he improved the team, but that was with the players who had signed on with tpat as an owner. Since then he has been losing more and more players.

And for your notice, Tatum Lightarrow has at least in priciple agreed to play for Prague next season, so hands off.

Randy, don't take this the wrong way, but as a 51 overall you will only really compete against 2-3 teams a season in EE even after a reorg. Why not push Bort for a Champions league in the reorg so you and the best USA, SA, etc... pro teams can move up and have real competition. There just aren't enough year 1 day 1 or so players to recruit over 13-14 teams in the rest of Zeta to consistently give you a run for your money.

SGA is still better than us, until we beat SGA and win Zeta again Im content to stay here. Also Scotch would have beaten us last year if Malachorn didnt have retarded tactics Game 1. And we would have probably lost to them in the playoffs, had we beat SGA. However, we havent beat SGA since Season 3, so thats the most important thing right now.

There are several other 51's in EE as well. Defectors have been a 51 since day 3 this season. We just lost by 20+ to a team in AAA #2 who is a 51.

All the more reason your team should promote, with or without trophy. Thanks for arguing my case.

My only point was that through the realignment the league may be better overall (say its all 48's and 51's), but that it still might not really be competitive. If there are only a couple of teams Prague has on its schedule to worry about is the league really fixed? Sure for the Fire it will be competitive as hell, but does that really fix your issue? If we have a pretty good idea on Day 1 who will be the top 2 teams in the league on Day 32 is it really fixed?

Yes it is fixed, because games come down to the sim. When a game is closely matched, or somewhat closely matched talent wise, then sometimes stupid things happen. Hell look at our games versus SGA last season, they beat the living shit out of us, they arent that much better than Prague, but stupid shit happened early in those games and they pounded us after we got down. Same could happen when we play Greek next season when your chem is up, heck it might happen this season, you have a lot of talent on the roster now and its still a ways off until our game.

Point is, there is some randomness in GLB, teams that are somewhat evenly matched can have interesting games. Heck at the start of the season you shouldnt have been hanging with Dubai, but you did.

At no point did I say we dont belong, I just have this apparently crazy idea that we should actually earn it.

Yes Kutzy, in an ideal world you would earn it and teams wouldnt gut and only experienced players would be allowed to be an owner in a Pro league. Unfortunately instead we get left with a bigger and bigger gap between the good teams and the gut jobs each season and it is disproportionately higher the higher level league you go to.

You have earned it by putting together a good team, that has experienced players and is competitive with the best teams in the region. That means you have earned it 100x more than someone who bought Helsinki and now has a trophy (before I got Helsinki taken away from him). Yes, I would love for you to win a trophy this season and then you could be happy and the best teams would be all in Pro and then the teams that are almost there would be in AAA and soforth, but I would much rather have a team who has good experienced players and depth compared to what is up here now. You have earned it more than they have to play quality competition each game. The scouting report doesnt say a lot, but it does say if your team has a chance or not.

so you want to dominate a league that is a little bit better and beat 1 team. Don't se how that corrects anything. Just makes you feel better about your team.
