Warrior General Games

I'm referring to this play:

My understanding was a cover 1 leaves the FS deep while the SS plays up. So my initial thought is that this is a cover 0 ... but who is the SS' man if that is the case? Any ideas what settings will produce this defense?

Yep, classic cover 3 from quarters with man under ... the only reasonably safe Cover 3, really.
