Compton 45 (6-2) vs Carolina Bar Stars (6-2)

Compton is rolling right now, and have been playing alot better than most. Compton was voted 9th, and have been playing well with thier upset over the wildcats. But here come the drunken bar stars. They are stubmling after losing 2 straight and only putting up a combined 9 points against San Fran and Houston. They have 2 solid wins over Orly and Oakyville. The Nungas seemed to have doomed thier O attack. They won the game, but Ted Laserarm came into the game with 0 INT for the 1st 5 games, then threw 5 INT in a winning effort.

Morale is huge in this game. If Carolina loses, it could start to get ugly with a game against Reno 911 next week. This is a must win, or the season could start to slip away from them. I see the Bar Stars winning this one, and Laserarm has a good day passing. 2TDs 1INT and 275 yars passing with a 70% completion rate.

Game 2 Oakyville (5-3) vs Houston (7-1)

Houston comes in with the 3rd most yards in rushing in the league and have a 5.9 YPC average. The Nungas come in with the 1st ranked rush D allowing 13.3 yards per game. If Houston goes to the air, if Redd stays clean, and doesnt allow JC Hemminger to get to him, it could be a long day for the Nunga secondary.

Good write-up on the Carolina game Carbor. Surprisingly, the BarStars hulked up and just decided to grind it out against Compton. Too many teams were keying on the passing game and it was time we went a different route to keep more people honest. Like you said, we badly needed that win to keep our confidence and team from slipping into a rut.

Now, even with losses to Reno and Omaha, we should still finish at worst 11-5 and would be favored to go 12-4. Just hope we could hold up to that.

Carolina/Reno next week should be a fun one to watch. I know we'll be watching from Omaha...

Good game guys and congrats on the win!

We had a come to Jesus this week in the Carolina camp. After a strong start we began to slip and had to revive our organization. The veterans stepped up and put together a plan to try and get back on track before our matchups with Reno and Omaha looming. The GM's were key in a offensive AI overall which is more adjustable and complete than the seemingly basic version we had in place before. This week we are gonna have to step forward even more to compete with Reno who is one of the elite teams in the conference. I hope our efforts give them a good game and keeps the DC guys for the other squads guessing as to what will come next. Both teams are extremely impressive and we hope to bring a good game to each.

Watch out for Hemminger he is as legit as they come as a rush LB. All five sack we gave up to Houston was credited to him for good reason. He is a beast.

I'll be honest. I went into the game thinking he just padded his stats but FEAR HIM!!! He's totally legit, and we don't give up many sacks. You killed so many drives with just him a lone. I wish there was a way to keep a HB in to block on pass plays. Hopefully we don't have to run into you guys in the play offs because I'm still stumped as to how to contain his damage.

My sentiments exactly. On all five of his sacks by us he ran right by the HB going into the flat. If the guy would of went for the block it probably would of negated the rush. I really hope the new offensive AI allows for formation preferences.
