Its half way through the season which means teams will start jockeying for playoff positions! Heres this weeks power rankings

The Elite

1. Washington Capitals (8-0) - As the only undefeated team in the East, The Capitals are cruising to the playoffs with the number one seed in mind. After shocking their opponents by 182 points, the Capitals look to do the same against the always competitive Appalachian Mountaineers. Also, we finally got our bird suit ready for Big C so will finally have a mascot roaming the endzone.

2. Boston DrunkN'Disorderly (7-1)- Yea they did lose by one point, but I'll still give them the edge over Rutgers. I am pretty sure if these teams played 10 times, it probably go 6-4 Bostons way because of the playoff experience. You could possibily see these two teams play each other in the second round of the playoffs.

3.Rutgers Silent Willies (7-1) - They had an impressive victory over the Drunks and have turned some heads. I was cautious in putting them in the elite catergory, but I think we can say theirs 3 great teams in the East as of right now. They might make a late playoff run if they can keep up the momentenum. This is the tough part of the schedule. They played Boston, play Seattle next, have an easy game with the firecats and finish the hard part of the schedule with the Caps.

Middle of the Pack

4. Mid Michigan Storm (6-2) - They took care of the Tampa Bandits and have two home games against the 5th and 6th best team in the league. Mid Michigan seems like a team kind of lurking the shadow that might pop out of the bush any second. They might be good enough to go 6-2 or 7-1 the rest of the way.

5. Chicago Sirius (6-2) - They won a real close game against the Seattle Rainmakers and they needed it because they have to finish the season at Boston and French Lick. They must start jockeying for position now and win these winable games. If they start losing close games it might hurt them for seeding position in the end. They have the hardest remaining schedule left as far as playoff teams go.

6. Seattle Rainmakers (5-3) - This win would have helped the Rainmakers alot if they could have pulled it out. I see them finishing the season 9-7 and making the playoffs though. A 10 win season would have been impressive for a team a season ago was one of the worst. They might not make huge strives this season, but if the GM keeps up his improvements, the team can be a top 4 team next season in BBB4.

7. Bowling Green Broncos (5-3) - This is not an uncommon position for the Broncos to be. They always hover around the bottom of the top 8 every season they been around. They took care of business of King Donaldt which was the first of four straight games where they play "gutted" teams. They end the season with a couple of hard opponents and we can really only judge them when those games are played.

Playoff Wannabes

8. Cincinnati Norris Ninjas (4-4) I consider the Ninjas the best 4-4 team only cause I believe in their defense. They can always keep the games close and I believe the other two 4-4 teams dont have the offense to score touchdowns against the Ninja's. Week 10 should be an interesting matchup between the Ninjas and Bandits. The loss to the Mountainners early in the season might come back to haunt them though.

9. Appalachian Mountaineers (4-4) - After they play the Caps this weekend, the mountainneers really have 7 winable games that will keep them in the playoff race. The mountainners have a really weak defense and they should make improvements before the beginning of the playoffs. Putting up 48 points up against the Fire cats is really shitty. their a team u should just crush by 70 or more.

10. Tampa Bandits (4-4) - Tampa Bandits is a team i dont know what to think about. Their 4-0 against gutted teams and 0-4 against real teams. If thats the trend, they might finish the season 7-9 and miss the playoffs. They have some of the players in place to become a good team, they just need to replace some of the lowbie starters before the trade deadline.

The Guttless teams

11. Minneapolis Masterminds (3-5)
12. San Francisco Fire Cats (2-6)
13. King Donaldt (2-6)
14. Michigan Blues (1-7)
15. Maribel Shock Therapy (0-8)
16. Houston Raiders (0-8)

Good analysis, looking forward to the Rutgers game this week, we'll at the very least make it a good one to watch!

48 points with a vanilla gameplan and getting plenty of reps for the backups is fine with me...

Not happy about the loss or the ranking, but I'll take that over being placed as "Teh suck of the league."

GG Chicago...hope we see you again real soon.

That loss to Appalachian still pisses me off. All because of a fucked up AI.

We weren't bad a year ago. Season 3...we were bad. But I had to revamp a little before season 4 and we started with 10 chemistry for that season and that really hurt us early on.

When you guys can square off with the old walking giants of the BBB East, Beer Town, let us know.

Unfortunately, no one can seem to figure out Philadelphia. Damn.

I know we set it up wrong, though. There was a mistake overriding field goals and kickoffs. The funny thing is, I had posted about the issue two days before and it wasn't corrected.

Feel free to message me for tips on how to beat BTB!

I'm just kidding, we've only managed to tie the series with Beer Town this year at two a piece. All four games have been seperated by only a single score. Surely leaving both teams with "if only we...!" afterwards.

Philly... no one can save you.

from who boston or washington? you guys have good teams and i wouldn't be surprised at a loss, but we also haven't lost to either of you guys

i've got bigger fish to fry right now , we're rolling at 9-0... don't wanna blow my load just yet but we're in the hunt for a trophy in A2. i'm taking them seriously but in these scrimmage games I will be testing my some new D AI so i can have a good estimate of whats working correctly.
