Anyone know?

I've forced a fumble in 4 of the last 5 games. Which brings me to conclude that I have no idea what stats/settings you need to force one. I've been on wrap-up, and have sub 30 str and tackling. I have one sa in monster hit, but I wouldn't think it would trigger so often. Maybe there is a speed related trigger, you get up faster = the harder you hit? Most forced fumbles seemed to come at the beginning of the game so it's not like we've worn down there confidence/moral. Is there any great bonus to being 2+ levels higher then who you tackle?

Anyone have any input on this?

speed and vision both increase fumbles imo.

It makes me wonder if there is a momentum variable to see how much force you slam into a guy at, then check to see if the carrier's carrying and strength can withstand it?

I'm sure there is. There looks to be a disproportionate amount of FFum on returners for special teams (especially on KR) when a gunner comes barreling down their lane untouched.

that's not disproportionate at all. it's completely realistic. i definitely agree there is a momentum/force component to causing fumbles.

Well, I meant versus real life football. In real football, more fumbles happen conventionally versus on returns.

thats weird you made the FB that has 4 in cover up and a good amount of stgh and carrying fumble...

That is what I thought. I think this also goes to confirm that SA are a waste without a good set of base stats.

The first three fumbles all have something in common...something I have noted for a long time, and something that I don't think you have much control over as a coach or player.

The last one...well, that FB is not very good in any way.

I have no idea at all.

48+ Strength
48+ Tackling
60+ Speed
60+ Vision
60+ Agility
5 in Monster Hit
Power Tackling

and has forced no Fumbles all season

You're also in a pro league. I would imagine even the weaker elusive backs there have at least soft capped carrying and strength.

yea but no forced fumbles even with power tackling? are you getting tackles? that is a little odd to me. maybe power tackling sucks.

Not a huge load, i average just under 5 tackles a game (37 tackles so far on the season)

In season 3 i averaged 1 FF every 21 tackles (128 tackles, 6 FF) so i'm patiently waiting but it doesn't look like it's going to happen! I can't see anything glaringly wrong with my attributes to not get any at all. We'll have to wait and see i guess.

Another 5 tackle, no FF day

My LB just got a big FF in an important game today. He is very low in monster hit and SAs in general. Try getting speed to over 70 Marshy, maybe move a piece of equipment.
