im the owner of a team and i have what i feel are two good tightends. however they only get about 2 to 3 receptions a game. how do i get them the ball more? i have a couple of medium pass plays that are targeted to the TE. each down there is any where from 10% to 25% chance of a TE option. i dont know if they ever trigger or not because i dont see much production out of my TE. when they do get the ball they average about 10 yards a catch so i want to increase their plays. do i need to go to shot pass plays to the TE instead of medium? is it just the defenses im going against? any suggestions?

I would love ot know, as well. I've set my TE pass (specific TE call) as high as 38%. My #2 TE has 11 receptions on the season. My #1 is hardly lighting it up. My WR% is set lower and they get about 5-5 times as many passes.

yeah thats another thing... my number #1 Te gets 1 to 2 passes a game. and my number #2 Te gets 2 to 3 passes a game. there is a 4 or 5 level diffrence between the two. i dont understand why the number one TE (who gets 20 more plays a game) gets less nods.

You have a couple options.

1) Set QB's favorite to the TEs.
2) Even higher TE option.
3) They need more speed.


Short and medium make no difference if they're being covered.

Also, are they frequently double teamed?

i had the settings at 10% TE option. this game i changed them to short pass TE favored. i had a total of 11 or 12 receptions to the TE's instead of the normal 4 or 5. i must admit my TE is little low on the speed. i maxed str and agility first. working on speed now.

i have seen % for te as high as 50% , if your te is good enough up the % the QB with good vision should see if he is open or not
