I really hope this doesn't end up passing. I like this league and everyone in it. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Wow. That's a horrible plan. They rape the PL of it's top four teams, and once your team is up there, if it gets relegated there's no guarantee it'll go back to it's original Pro league.

Looks like a plan that is focused on bringing more people into Pro (Would need to promote 8 teams since 4 are relegated, and 4 are "promoted"), than it is anything else. Probably someone with Pro League envy.

No....a tourney of the 8 champs running parallel to the season is the best solution for a competition like that.

but pretty much everyone in that topic loves it and is trying desperately to move it forward.

topics in the suggestions forum usually go through when there is a huge majority that agrees with it.

What an ignorant post. Having a world league isn't about losing teams winning games, it's about the top teams in each league showing how good they really are against the other top teams in GLB. I'm not sure if teams are afraid to play some of the other great teams in the league, maybe they like being a big fish in a small pond, but if they really thought they were elite then I'm sure they wouldn't shy away so quickly.

Either way it's only a matter of time before some sort of champions league is established. Even if it's built on a volunteer basis (i.e. you can stay in your Pro league if you want), teams who have the opportunity and don't move into it will be seen as weak and cowardly.

People like this league as it is. If it`s run concurrently and you can stay in this league whilst also playing in the world league then i`m sure most people here won`t have a problem with it, but if it`s a choice of either/or then it`s a different story completely.

It`s quite ironic that you call his an ignorant post without knowing the reasoning behind it IMO.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but if he based his post on the belief that the creator of the Champions League idea just wanted more wins, his response would be ignorant. He simply did not look and see that the creator's team is one of the most winning teams in all of GLB (yes, I am a part of it).

If you'd read my post you would've seen the proposition that this could be voluntary, the teams could be given the opportunity to compete at a higher level.

Or they could just stay in a lower Pro league.
