I don't get how I am dropping so many passes. I have 13 drops this season including 2 TD's this past game that cost us the game.

Can someone tell me what is wrong with my build that I am dropping this many passes.

That looks like a solid build to me. Maybe vision, jumping, carrying and confidence.

I have been training jumping since the start of the season. I just got it to 32 before the game today in which I had 4 drops.

I would think getting confidence a little higher (35 or so) would help decrease drops.

your catching is too high, youre making plays on balls you dont have the skills to catch successfully

I am not 100% sure if I agree with this. My WR is one level higher than his guy and I have similar stats with even higher catching. So far this season I have 2 drops out of over 60 receptions.

I didn't agree with it either.

Strength to 25-30
Jumping to 40
Stamina to 40
Confidence to 30
Sticky Hands to 3-4

Faster WR's need higher catching and vision to make a play on the ball. As soon as I got my vision up on my speed WR, his drops went down.

Ditto, Vision was the game change for my speed WR as well. I was quite frustrated last season with drops.

I actually think he is right here. From my experience owning a pretty good QB, a team with a pretty good QB, and a soft caped catching WR, the higher the catching, the more the QBs pass to them. I don't think high catching is causing the drops, but I do think the QB is more likely to throw to a covered WR because of the catching which causes drops.

I've been training carrying and strength with my main WR (I have 3) and it hasn't stopped the drop passes. I'm still trying to get my agility to soft cap, but once I do I'm bringing my vision to 30+. I'm also now training exclusively vision and confidence.

Well considering all of my drops I was open for I don't see this being the problem.

On my #1 WR I almost never get drops anymore with a close to 1:1:1 jumping:vision:catching

but on my other team, there is a WR with .5:.5:1 and he is dropping many passes

That ain't it. Each of your WR's are close to their WR team average for drops. The guy who almost never drops it? Yeah, neither do the other WRs on his team. That'll suggest you either have the exact same builds or the similar results are because of QB/Line/Opponent play.

Could be QB tactics.
But in my experience, backup #1 WR and #2 WR always has more drops than #1 starter and slot.

I don't think it has anything to do with too high a catching stat, that argument never made sense to me (I know somebody's going to be up in arms about that).

Personally, if I had your WR I'd raise agility or quick cut next.
