Thought i would do a quick rundown of the top teams.
im not sure how many im giong to do.
but ill just go until i get really really tired of it.

1) Omaha Dogs (6-0) [Western Confrence]
Pros: This team is stacked. They have a win against the number 2 team, and an impressive win at that. This team is loaded with depth at every position. That fact alone was enough to get over my Bias.

Cons: They haven't played anyone good asside from Reno, and they are in the Western confrence.

2) Philadelphia Brokebacks (6-0) [Eastern Confrence]

Pros: Great owner, and some major agents that have helped with key parts of this team. Best running 1-2 punch in the league, followed closely by Omaha. They have played against 4 top 5 caliber teams already, and they have the eastern confrence #2 team tomorrow night.

Cons: This team still has a pretty weak offensive line. The only position on the field that keeps them below Omaha

3) Memphis Ghetto Dawgs (6-0) [Eastern Confrence]
Pros: Very well coached team, has been in the playoffs since their Inaugural Season, and every year gets a pretty good run going. They have lots of talent on the roster as well.

Cons: This team has less lvl 30s than some other top teams, which may hold them back in a close game. Not to mention they haven't played any good teams yet this year.

4) Chicago Bruins (5-1) [Eastern Confrence]
Pros: This team has been at the top, has won, and has lost. They've done it all. Great coaches and a wonderful Staff. Played Philadelphia very close.

Cons: I'm not quite sure if its that this team hasn't boosted, or if they dont have as high of level players as we remembered. All of their creation times are pretty close to my lvl 30. So i'm assuming they have boosted. As it looks right now, they dont have alot of lvl 30s.

5) Reno 911 (5-1) [Western Confrence]
Pros: This team has a pretty high overall. They have been around a while and proved they can put up some points. They have a STUD at quarterback and could have a shot at upsetting Omaha in the playoffs

Cons: This team seems to lack the talent. Not alot of lvl 30s on this roster. Something that really makes me a skeptic.

6) Carolina Bar Stars (6-0) [Western Confrence]
Pros: This team gets my pick over South Beach solely on the fact that they are 6-0. They have a great quarterback who seems to be single handedly carrying this team with a near 70% completion percentage.

Cons: Where is this defence? By the levels they have got nothing. they have maybe one potential starter for other teams.

7) South Beach Tokers (5-1) [Eastern Confrence]
Pros: I love this team. Great owner with theboss and a set of very active players. I know this is a well respected team in the east, played Philly reasonably close. They have a great kicker and great punter. This team should not be looked over.

Cons: Some very close games to some very questionable teams, I wonder how well they can hold up the rest of the season.

8) New Orleans Eagles (5-1) [Eastern Confrence]
Pros: They have a great lineup. A team that was very solid last season as well. the strong offensive line helps as well.

Cons: I question this teams depth, seeing as how they lost 42-0 to Philadelphia.

9) North Carolina Lighthouses (5-1) [Eastern Conference]
Pros: This team does have alot of guys, and seems to have a swagger about them, knowing they can beat anyone. A team that is trying to prove they are a contender in the east. Lots of Talent on this team, wouldn't suprise me for them to move up quite a few spots.

10) ORLY Owls (5-1) [Western Confrence]
Pros: This team seems to be able to compete. they have a couple of play makers, and that seems to be enough. They have come along way and are starting to be real contenders.

Cons: The lvl 23 starting Free Safety worries me. It shows a lack of depth. However, they have plenty of players to stomp on some of the lower teams in our league.

11) Houston Apollos (5-1) [Western Confrence]
Pros: They have a close loss against ORLY. An owner who knows his stuff, and a few top tier players. Love this team and have alot of respect for them.

Cons: I am starting to lose faith in the Western Confrence, noticing alot of teams that have several low lvl starters. This being one of them.

12) The Forgotten One's (4-2) [Eastern Confrence]
Pros: This team had two lvl 30s on it. at their tier of play. thats pretty good. This is a team of the future. Watch out BBB 14

Cons: Again, this team does have to play in the eastern confrence, tough luck for them. BUT, they still have a ways to go.

13) Akron Assasins (4-2) [Eastern Confrence]
Pros: LOADS of talent, and plenty of money from when this team was in the limelight. Next year they should be a force.

Cons: This team has some pretty low chemistry, that is killing them ALOT this season.

14) Compton Colts .45 (5-1) [Western Conference]
Pros: I orgininally had this team higher, then i saw their talent level. Its amazing to me that their coach has put together a 5-1 start. All the props in the world to him.

Cons: Again, the talent level is extremely low. I don't see them competitive for a few season.

15) San Fransisco Wildcats (3-3) [Western Conference]
Pros: This team is loaded with talent. They should be a good team, they have beaten people, and lost to people.

Cons: how the FUCK did you guys lose to compton? agian, huge props to their owner. Thats the only reason that you are so low.

16) Oakyville Nugyas (3-3) [Western Confrence]
Pros: This team has flashed brilliance.
in this year and years past.
so i know they can competet.

Cons: They haven't done that enough this year. come on oaky!

Actually, that's pretty cool. I have seen quite a few write ups in the leagues I play in, but first time I have seen someone break down the overall league like the. Lots just run numbers, but few take the time to break down their own conference, you did the whole league. Kudos!

thanks man.
i just realized that your not gonna have that one guy to do it every year.
so i figured i would.
i dont think you guys are gonna be getting this kind of a break down for every game.
but maybe every once in a while.

i might do a mid season report.

I know you are going strictly on levels in looking at Carolina's defense. But if you look into it, you'll see that it's a pretty solid group. The team led the league in turnovers forced last season and I know it's only a six game selection to sample from, but every single Bar Star opponent so far this season have been held to their lowest offense scoring total (or tied) in their match-up with Carolina. IT may not be the most imposing looking group on paper, but the Bar Stars attribute a lot of success to their solid defensive play. I wouldn't consider it a weak point for us but I guess if you had to pick one spot.......

As a unit, they ahve played better than most groups in the league.

Now watch us get torched by Houston since I've defended and bragged on my boys a bit.

BTW, good job with the rankings. It promotes discussion and that's always good for the league.

Thanks. I really do put a lot of effort into the AI. While we don't have top flight levels, the team was built as a system. What we do, we do really well

Yea I do have to say I am more worried about your defense than your offense. I've actually been breaking down your defense since before last game. I think I might have a chance on cracking it

Yeah, but we just completely revamped all our AI's after the close call with Oaky.

they have before doesnt mean they still can.
we got crushed my new orleans last year.
and by chicago.
and by south beach.
we've beaten all those teams this year.

including a 42-0 win over New Orleans.

yeti, you do know i fixed that for rubeskies? you did some good rankings. please keep 'em coming.

itd be cool to have cross division scrimmages near the end of the season. 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, etc... and settle the east v west argument.
