I'm ranking these from best to worst... of the bottom 5 teams.
I hope this doesn't make anyone mad. I'm not doing it with a malevolent heart.
1) Teikoku Alexanders - These guys picked up a win over the Port Moody PAIN, and the team seems to be coming together. There are only two CPU players starting, and they've got a lvl 31 LOLB. I see a bright future ahead.
2) Bronx Black Flag - These guys are a decent team. Once they get into the soft part of their schedule, I see them picking up some W's. I don't think they end the season on the bottom 5, but they don't have a win... YET!
3) Port Moody PAIN - These guys have taken some beatings from GOOD teams. They're building it up from the ground, and they've got the funds to make something happen in the offseason. I see them breaking into the top 10 next season.
4) Thundertown Brawlers - This is another team that has gotten a crappy starting schedule. Like the PAIN, they've got a lot of funds to make some moves in the offseason to attract some legit talent. They've got to move out those CPU players though. If they are managed and coached well, they could be contenders next season.
5) Washing Apocalypse - What can I say? They've got a good punter... These guys drew a tough first 5 games just like the preceding 2 teams, and they're "paying their dues." Thankfully they play in a legit league, and in the offseason they might be able to use that fact to persuade some talent to play for them. This team is one example of how the league could benefit from a realignment. I don't mean to rag them hard, but they've got to know they're in over their heads. With only $5M and a small stadium, it is going to be difficult to get much done. Again, I'm not trying to blast them hard. I know they caught a raw deal, and they're trying to build back up. However, it is going to be very difficult to do that with the level of competition in "The Ocho."
