Ivalice Tacticianers at Uncle Sam's Misguided Children – The Tacticianers have had a rough season so far and have petitioned to Bort to place them in the same conference as Michigan Rage and The State of Texas Highwaymen! Their rebuilding project is still in the works, but still a season away from competing with the Western elite. I’m afraid for the Tacticianers that it’s a simple fact about USMC, “God has a hard-on for Marines because we kill everything we see!”

Tacticianers 15 – Misguided Childeren 57

Caprica Buccaneers at Chicago Maroons – The battle of the undefeated in the West! As good as the Maroons season has gone; the nightmare is about to begin. The Maroons have got to keep their spirits high during these trying times as they match up with the best. Anything is possible as I’m sure the Buccaneers only have one game circled on their schedule and that’s DVD. With the right game plan any team can be David and take down this Goliath! GAME OF THE WEEK!!!!!!

Buccaneers 21 – Maroons 13

Sioux Falls Storm at Rapid City Rushmores – Almost out of one of the worst schedules in the West; the Storm match up with the old top dog! Fresh off of a healthy win the Strom is motivated to put up another W and there is a shot. Will the Rushmores be too busy watching Anchorage game film to pay attention to the Storm? The Storm as I’ve said before, are a consistent threat to anyone and gave Caprica and DVD a scare earlier in the season. A win here would be huge for the Storm and for the rest of the West!

Storm 23 – Rushmores 30

Anchorage Wolves at Rocky Mountain Thunder – The Thunder can almost breathe as they’ve been under a lot of top teams in their past few games. Their biggest hope is the Wolves are too busy watching film on Rapid City to notice them. Although the Wolves did just come off of an impressive win over San Jose!

Wolves ? – Thunder ?

San Jose SkyForce at Death Valley Shadowblades – The SkyForce’s nightmare of a season continues as they face off with the power house Shadowblades. The Shadowblades are looking to inch their way into the elite in the West and are looking to destroy another team for the second straight week!

SkyForce 28 – Shadowblades 58

DVDTalk Otters at Pittsburgh Highlanders – The Otters had high hopes this season and now look to punish all this season for their two losses! Determined to turn their season around and shot for home field advantage I worry about what will become of the Highlanders.

Otters 61 – Highlanders 13

Midwest Mayhem at Sierra Vista Buffalos – The Buffalos head office may have spent more time on GLB this season than Bort, but the Mayhem are shooting for playoff hopes. We’ve all been warned that they mighty Buffalos will win a game this season, but I wouldn’t look here for this win.

Mayhem 40 – Buffalos 28

Southside Spartans at San Diego Silver Shock – The Silver Shock have high hopes of playoff glory and have proved that they can hang with the best of them, but need to stay focused because even the Spartans can win a battle now and then.

Spartans 6 – Silver Shock 63

I'll fill in for this one.
Their protestations aside, no one believes for a moment that mighty Anchorage has overlooked the rising Thunder. Rocky Mountain is a vastly improved team, but limps into the final game of one of the roughest stretches of anyone in the conference. Anchorage is used to a little weather, and will handle a game challenge from the Thunder.

Wolves 37 - Thunder 13

And an editorial comment is absolutely required on this one. Powerhouse Shadowblades??? Clearly you have us mistaken with someone else! A couple wins does NOT a powerhouse make. That's especially true in a conference that boasts Anchorage, Caprica, Rapid City, DVD, Sioux Falls, Midwest, Chicago, & USMC, teams that could all lay claim to that moniker! This game will be close from start to finish, and I can only hope we're fortunate enough to come out on top on a last second FG.

I'm trying to build up excitement and inspire greatness. I can lay it on less next time if you want?

I would lay claim to that; at least since I've owned this team. Six more positions and I'm calling it a roster. Then we'll focus on that win, look out Southside!

We'll choose the quiet, humble rebuild approach for now. At least until such time as we're the elite team in the conference, plowing through the schedule, yet knowing we'll lose in the Conference championship game.

LOL, I'm doing the opposite of you so my money is on you for the win even though I haven't looked at your team yet. I just moved 3 level +23 players that weren't resigning next season for a bunch of cash and signed a couple level 1 CPU players in their place so we actually are worse on paper now. Good thing for me is alot of the players I have are interested in sticking around long term and I know a few guys with contracts up during the offseason that will fit in nicely in this league. I will also have money to recruit. I'm content with 0-16 this season as long as I'm competitive next season.

But I will talk shit next week just for fun We need a good rivalry.

I just dumped five inactives (levels 18 - 23)...I swear these guys log on long enough to accept a contract and then go ghost. I too am focusing on the future, we are in renegotiation with a lot of our players. The good thing is I have a solid core (of agents) and if I have to go with hired guns season to season in spots, well that is what I will have to do.

That's right bossman. We've overhauled this roster thrice. These next few games you'll see a new team. And next season will be even better.

That's great, sounds like we're both doing it the right way. Lookout you top teams...the rebuilders are coming for you (in a year or two, be nice this year ).

Thanks for the support, we try hard but there are a bunch of great teams here and it's tough every week.

We were able to pull of the upset and get our first win over Rapid City. GG Rapid City!!! It was well played on both sides, just glad we got a win over you after several seasons.
