Lots of shifting around the top. We should be a better picture in the next two weeks of what the playoffs will look like.

Sad that we’ll pretty much know 7 weeks into the 16 week season.

Seems there are some rivalries brewing between the lEASTern conference and the home of all your power teams. We’ll be looking forward to a couple scrimmages to get us through the stretch of boring easy teams. I like the rivalries, I like the shit talking. Keep it up.

Title Contenders

1. Tallahassee Teabaggers- (0) Edged out a victory in OT for the home crowd against Chicago. Solid game for both teams. Looks like there is a lot of parity among the top 5 teams.
2. Anchorage Maulers- (0) Easy win over Port Moresby last week, should be able to handle Chicago. After a stretch of two tough game, will be able to coast till the playoffs come.
3. RGB Berzerk- (+2) Surprise of the season so far. RGB keeps climbing in the Power Rankings. A really nice win over Fresno should give them a decent shot at home field advantage for the playoffs. Tough stretch continues with Tallahassee, Anchorage, and Chicago on the horizon. Are the Berzerk legit? We’ll find out.
4. Fresno Jaguars-(-1) Shocking loss to RGB last week. A team that only lose by 3 points to Tallahassee, 6 points to Anchorage, and beat Chicago by 14 turned in a sloppy performance against an RGB team clicking on all cylinders. Should finish off the season 11-0 and lock up a home field advantage in the playoffs.
5. Chicago Thunder- (-1) Normally losing to the number 1 team in the league in OT wouldn’t drop you, but until the Thunder come to play RGB they’ll have the number 5 spot in the power rankings. Another tough game coming up against Anchorage, a win here would be huge.

Locks for opening road matches, but out of title contention....

6. Las Vegas Legends (0) – Finally put a plus in the win column with a dominating performance over the once might MAD DAWGS. On a funny note, Rex Vick had a career low 3 attempts as Las Vegas ran the ball for 861 yards.
7. Roswell Space Pirates- (0) Poor outing against the bottom dwelling Renegades. A win is a win though.
8. San Diego Blaze- (0) Dominated Scranton this week. Then again who doesn’t? Man that team sucks. Seems destined to get destroyed in the first round of the playoffs.

Outside looking in...

9. So.Cal Beach Bums-(0) Record looks good, but the schedule has been one of the easiest thus far in the league. Will be interesting to see how they perform against Las Vegas. A win there would get them into the playoff mix.
10. Philadelphia Demonik- (+1) Continue to beat teams above their level, could contend for a playoff spot in Season 6 with the right off season moves… Should get to 6-2 before they hit the meat of their schedule. And by hit the meat, I mean get put in their place. Vegas, Fresno, Tallahassee, Anchorage, Chicago, and RGB all in consecutive weeks. Live it up now boys.
11. Houston Space Cowboys- (-1) Dominated my Demonik. Gotta blame settings, build quality, or a combination of the two. Shouldn’t have lost that game that bad.

Looking for a clue…..

12. Port Moresby Trucks- (0) Hey putting up 10 point against Anchorage has to be a positive right?
13. Springville Renagades- (0) Keep it respectable against Roswell. Grats. Maybe you guys are like 2 seasons from competing for a playoff spot. Start recruiting now…
14. RAVING MAD DAWGS-(0) Going to be a long rebuild process.
15. Scranton Soaring Midgets- (0) Y’alls logo creeps me out (http://goallineblitz.com/game/team_pic.pl?team_id=1668) wtf is that! Long way to go with you guys. Let try and get some humans on this team!
16. Phoenix Resurrection- (-2) Owner has been gone since Sept 22. I guess they will be getting a new guy in charge here soon. Still amazes me how far they’ve dropper off the map. Not a single human player on defense….

Just my two cents…

Nice, I like reading these. If we get 7 wins this season the Demonik is happy

The rest of this season is going to be boring for us. Luckily I am done with the work i've been caught up in and am back once again to re-establish the Las Vegas Legends.

We've got something up our sleeves. Its not the +5 boosts, but hopefully it'll help.

Same basic fault you had in your D against Tallahassee so hardly their fault dawgs. Just in a better position than the Teabaggers to exploit the gaping hole you left open.

It is difficult to recruit high-quality players for Port Moresby due to political unrest, harsh and destructive weather, and of course our ongoing rape-gang issues. These conflicts with both man and nature make selling Port Moresby to potential free agents a complicated and time-consuming process.

In addition, as I'm sure you're all aware, the previous owner departed (via pontoon boat) with a majority of the players from last year's team. This has made the rebuilding efforts doubly difficult. All we ask is that we are judged not by our rape-gangs or turmoil, but by the heart that we display on the field!
