Yeah, no, I'm not planning on retiring this guy if that's the first thing you're going to suggest. I'd been investing heavily into SAs before I started using the forums and I still do. I just find it hard to bring myself to spend skill points on something I can get without them while failing to spend them on something I can't get without them, and I've yet to be fully convinced that investing heavily into SAs makes a character unworkable. Bort himself said that the idea that SAs only work if their related stat is at a certain level was misinformation.

Anyway, has anyone else actually tried doing something like this? I know that in the D-League it's resulted in huge numbers of broken tackles, but I figure that may change as time goes on. With the new system allowing players to get SPs through training on Intense, I'm wondering if SAs aren't made more viable. What do you guys think?

There is nothing positive I can say about your build.

I think the fact that your G with 6 in the Pancake SA has 0 pancakes is a clear indication that attributes are more important than SAs.

Dumping a ton into SA's early isn't terrible, because you do see a nice boost in product as your being putting points into regular stats. I tried the same thing with a guard, and my pancakes shot through the roof the second I put a little strength into him.

Some SA's don't need stats to back them up, but most of the time it helps a ton.

Actually, my G had pancakes his first game. Did you try looking at his team? I accidentally got him into a pro-level team at level 1.

I got the "Auto-matic" SA for my FB, so he can automatically have 25 yard runs.
