Time for our second round of Power Rankings. We’ve got a couple shifts in power. Two teams remain undefeated and the Legends suddenly look very beatable.
Title Contenders
1. Tallahassee Teabaggers- (+1) Our new number one team! Squeaked out a 21-20 victory in what might end up being a preview of the conference championship game. Tallahassee overcame two turnover and a missed long FG. Could be ever better than this. Should get a good bearing after the Week 5 match-up at home against Chicago…
2. Anchorage Maulers- (-1) Not sure what happened in the last game. Big slip up for a team that was thought to go undefeated will most likely get a second shot. Coming up in two weeks comes a trip to Chicago, following by a home match against RGB should be fun.
3. Fresno Jaguars-(0) Sitting a 2-2 thanks for a solid victory over Chicago. Should beat RGB in Week 5 to move to over .500 and have a pretty easy route to the three seed from here on out.
On the brink....
4. Chicago Thunder- (0) Looked very solid against Legends, with a stout defense holding them to only 13 points. Big match over Tallahassee would lock up a home field playoff game.
5. RGB Berzerk- (+1) Impressive 4-0 start has propelled RGB into the ready for big time category. Impressive in all of their victories. Big part of the schedule coming up with Fresno, Tallahassee, Anchorage, and Chicago all in consecutive weeks.
Locks for opening road matches....
6. Las Vegas Legends (-1) - Suddenly looking a lot more beatable. Have only managed to put up 10.5 points per game. Much better than the 0-4 record puts them. Should go on a big win streak here, but the damage has been done.
7. Roswell Space Pirates- (+1)Won a super important game over the Blaze last week. Will be on cruise control for 7 weeks till they get Las Vegas, Fresno, Tallahassee, Anchorage, and Chicago in consecutive weeks. Barring a slip up, they should be 9-1 going into that game. Also hold the record for most GMs. Lol (11)
8. San Diego Blaze- (-1)Lost a heart breaker to Roswell. Tough loss means they’ll likely face the number 1 team if they are to make the playoffs. Playoff berth would be a big boost for the franchise.
Outside looking in... (just a personal note, there is a HUGE drop-off in quality of teams from here down)
9. So.Cal Beach Bums-(0) Looks like the Beach Bums will most likely fall short of the playoffs after being politely disposed from by the Space Pirates. There’s a remarkable difference from 1-8 and 9-16 in our league.
10. Houston Space Cowboys- (0) Will pull out a couple more wins, but only because BBB13 is just not what it used to be.
11. Philadelphia Demonik- (+2) Most impressive lower tier win in the past week. Clearly separated themselves from the Teams looking for a clue.
Looking for a clue…..
12. Port Moresby Trucks- (0)Offense underperformed in past two week and defense was nowhere to be found. Builds, depth, or tactics have to be blamed.
13. Springville Renagades- (0)Keeping games close, desperate need to find some top tier starters. Several season away from truly being competitive…. Like 5 seasons. Still giving props for no CPU starters though.
14. RAVING MAD DAWGS-(+2) Grats on the first win in a while. Are these guys even active?
15. Scranton Soaring Midgets- (0) Just sad…
16. Phoenix Resurrection- (-2) Hurts to put these guys down here. Used to be a great franchise, like a month ago…

. As for us, we'll be fine, our OTs are a little late boosting (i'm waiting for pay day Thursday, PF is away from home for a week). Was the main hole in our O-line and Tallahassee exploited it well, will hopefully work differently come the playoffs and both teams at full power.
