So who's still having any success defending the pass, especially the comeback route and how are you doing it? Also is anyone noticing an issue with CB's where speed is 25 points(or more) higher than their agility?

I've had no problems at all defending anything this year. As for your speed not being even with your agility, that was your first mistake. I think the ideal ratio for a corner is 1:1. No sense in having 90 speed if you can't cut.

yeah but also no sense having 70/70 speed/agility when 90/30 speed/agility WR's are blowing past you for 40-50-60+ yd TD's. that was all I was asking was should I work on agility next or if vision would be a better route to go.

I'm 70/70. No 90/30 receiver blows past me. No 90/30 receiver would ever blow by anyone at this point.

that's not true, talk to flames or look at my receiver, he's a lower agility, 85+ speed and I generally have at least one play every game of 40+ yds. it still happens, they adjusted acceleration but speed is still king.

70-50 speed? You mean 70speed/50agility?
Thats pretty good, but not great. Bring one, or the other, or both, to the cap@61 IMO.
Then work on supervision and shutdown coverage.
And CBs with 70/70 wont get 'blown by' against WRs with 85 speed...its not THAT MUCH faster, and possibly not faster at all if the CB has invested in the SC SA. Thats what its for.

Of course I don't know what the exact builds of the CB's that are covering him, but even against the better teams in the leagues on a straight streak my WR will normally have 5 yards by the time he's 20-30 yards downfield on pretty much every CB he's played. Put it this way my CB is 88 speed and 53 agility with all equipment in speed. He's giving up a lot of underneath passes. My question is which stat is the next to concentrate on, vision or agility?

The Comeback and Curl routes are always the hardest to defend against.. the good news is that they rarely result in anything more than a mid-yardage catch. It is possible to defend against them, you just have to be really good
Just pick something you can still improve a lot, and improve it - I could see Agility, Shutdown Coverage, Super Vision, or Change Direction all helping. Specialize in one to get the max effect.
As far as super speedy WRs go, those ultra high speeds only come into play when they have the space to get up to them. A good CB will just get in the way and keep them from putting that speed to use, and I've found ~70 speed has worked just fine that way.

One of my CB's is at 75/60/55 for Speed/Agility/Vision and has been doing a decent job this season in actual coverage. I gave him a +5 boost to speed today from trading in the bonus tokens and preformed outstanding against a tough opponet today while every single other CB struggled. In the past I have been against the "speed demon" CB builds, but as ive been tinkering with this guy ive come to find that speed still equals success.
My other CB's are all at roughly 65/55-60/50 and I would describe their play as average. Again, to me the x factor seems to be speed. If your agility is at 60 I think your set and can focus on speed.

My CBs been shutdown all year. Actually better than last year.
(Don't say that I have high tackles, I play special teams)
