We should have just threw the ball the close out the game .

Personally, I'd like to see a kneel down and spike ball option, as well as about 80000000000000000 times more realistic clock management. Players trying to get out of bounds would also be a nice touch.

GG guys... your offense is near unstoppable so far in this season. If you would cut that goal line offense out on short yardage 3rd downs, you would never have had to punt or kick a FG

But like I said in the other thread, I don't feel bad about wining that way since we should have kicked a FG in the last two minutes before that to put us up. It would have been fun to see y'all march down the field on the final drive and win that way!!!

The goal line offense on 3rd and short is a holdover play from last season. Teams would go to a goal line D whenever we were on third and short. Our passing game was pretty bad last season so we were going to be running it anyways so might as well go goal line.

Wow. That was a crazy ending.

BTW, what's the play clock in this game? The previous play (a short run) was snapped at 1:02, and then that play wasn't snapped until 0:14.

And the last play of the game was a touchback???

This late game stuff needs to get a little more realistic.

Play clock is 40 seconds but the plays last some time:

:14+40 = 0:54

1:02-0:54= 8 second play

ya, clock shouldn't run more than a second or two on a touchback... and not at all on a not-touched touchback.
