Depends what your strengths and weaknesses are. If you have high catching and low agility/speed then all the possession ones are "handy." If you have high speed and agility the speedster ones will benefit you most.

Even if you make a speed reciever wouldnt you still want to get at least 1 pt in each of the possesion SAs because of all the different catching abilities?

My opinion:

1. Route Run
2. Sticky Hands
3. First Step
4. Quick Cut
5. Anything else

I'd say

1. Head Fake
2. Quick Cut
3. Route Run
4. Anything else except the last 3 in possession
5. The last 3 in possession

That's kind of a given. (In my opinion) SAs should not be invested into until you have strong base attributes. Not because they won't activate without them, but even if they do activate, if you suck it won't matter.

Base attributes define your character, SAs give you an occasional boost on top of that. That's how I see it anyway. You should also consider that any given owner may apply varying degrees of importance to each SA, and when recruiting players they will look at which ones you have. If you have something they deem situational and unworthy they'll move right on past you. IE: If I see a WR with 10 in diving catch I likely won't consider him - not only because I don't like diving catch but because if he used all those points in it they didn't go into his attributes (which would have been a serious difference)

Head Fake sucks D. CBs almost league wide have softcapped Vision and Agility these days, and the ones that don't either suck or are too low of a level to have enough SPs to put into them. Head Fake doesn't work on defenders with high AGI/VIS. Therefore, Head Fake doesn't work nearly as well with WRs as it does with HBs.

In the case of jump catch, it isn't that the ability sucks, it's that most people who take it either don't take it up to level 6 and don't have jumping softcapped.

If you have a speed receiver who has soft capped catching and jumping, then sure maybe you put one point in each possession SA, but I wouldn't. It is a tiny chance or boost with only 1 point in it. Need to get them up to be effective in my opinion so only putting one point in is kind of a waste.

You don't have a WR..?

Bukowski, get over yourself and these "You aren't qualified" comments. When you tell that to a guy that owns a team and GM's three others you really make yourself look stupid. Something tells me between those four teams, his three QB's and his two CB's he has a good idea of what a good and bad WR looks like.

As to the original poster, I haven't found an SA I like more than raw stats. I'm still not sure how I'll add them to my guy when I run out of raw stats.

lol.

Call me crazy, but when someone comes to the WR Forum, looking for advice for their WR - I would imagine that they are hoping to get advice from people that actually own a WR.

Maybe its just me.. But when I have a question about my RB, I don't go to a guy that just owns a Cornerback for advice.

But hey, maybe you do. I guess that's why you've seen such resounding success with your players this year.

Have a great day.

What about Spin, is it useful or not?

No one touches it because they are afraid to. I'd say level it to six if you have agility softcapped.

I plan on working on HF/Spin/Juke once my AGI hits 70.
