3-0 teams
1) Tulsa Teamsters (last week #4)
The Tulsa Teamsters win this season's first **Game of the Week** against the Walla Walla Wackers, aided by an apparent mistake in their offensive ai settings. Still, the win was convincing and enough to bump them over the Shaka Brah's, who remained impressive but haven't beaten an opponent of the level of Walla Walla.
2) Island Shaka Brah's (last week #1)
The Shaka Brah's may be disappointed to see they dropped, but it's less about them and more about Tulsa moving up. Shaka Brah's threw down 161 on Starkville, but that was pretty much expected.
3) LaCrosse River Rats (last week #3)
The River Rats put Pariah's team in a serious world of hurt, but like Shaka Brah's win, this was rather expected. They remain at #3 on the strength of their win over French Lick, and have a big game coming up against new #6 Walla Walla in the **Game of the Week**.
4) Fremont Warriors (last week #5)
Fremont with a solid win over the Washington Blitz, and closed the gap between themselves and LaCrosse. Still, they lack a keynote victory of the level of LaCrosse's.
2-1 teams
5) French Lick Liquors (last week #6)
French Lick put the expected beating on Tulsa. They've got a few winnable games coming up before their second test against the Fremont Warriors (they failed the first one).
6) Walla Walla Wackers (last week #2)
After their crushing defeat at the hands of new #1 Tulsa Teamsters, Walla Walla made allegations that their loss was partially due to Tulsa's going for it on every fourth down. While that may have been bad sportsmanship
, it should not have affected Walla Walla's defensive playcalls nor the outcome. Walla Walla has a chance for redemption, as they play #3 LaCrosse for a chance to break back into the top 5 in the **Game of the Week**.
7) Hobbs Gerbil Wranglers (last week #9)
Gerbil Wranglers with an impressive win over the Lone Star Leopards, making one think perhaps their utter domination by the Island Shaka Brah's earlier in the season was perhaps not the best indication of their team's talent.
8) South Georgia Growl(last week #8)
South Georgia put the expected beating on the Chicago Shockers. Still, their 24 point loss to Walla Walla looks even worse now after Tulsa made them the Wackers look silly. The Growl stay where they are for now.
1-2 teams
9) Washington Blitz (last week #7)
The Blitz should fire their athletic director. They've been a victim of poor scheduling, having already been blown out by two top-5 teams in the Island Shaka Brah's and the Fremont Warriors. It doesn't get any easier, as they face #5 French Lick next game.
10) Lone Star Leopards (last week #10)
The Leopards faced their first game against a relatively similarly rated opponent in the Hobbs Gerbil Wranglers, and were unable to keep it close. A 21 point loss isn't going to do much for you in the rankings.
11) Las Vegas Villians (last week #12)
The Villians crushed the Smash Mouth Silverbacks. Unfortunately, crushing a team that has yet to put one in the W column will only move them up 1 this week. They get another winnable game against Rhode Island this week.
12) Tulsa Doom (last week #11)
To be quite honest, the Chicago Shockers are probably better than Tulsa. However, their scheduling of the Starkville Cows in game 1 is still paying dividends. They've scored 3 points in their last 2 games combined. Let's see if they can get the offense on track against the Smash Mouth Silverbacks.
0-3 teams
13) Chicago Shockers (last week #13)
Chicago has lost to three middle-of-the-league teams. Now they play #1 Tulsa Teamsters. This is going to be REAL ugly.
14) Rhode Island Revolutionaries (last week #14)
Things get a little easier for the Revolutionaries, just a little as they play Las Vegas and the Tulsa Doom next. Hopefully they can pull in a win.
15) Starkville Cows(last week #15)
Another team who needs to fire their AD. The Cows just got crushed by the Shaka Brah's and they have Fremont and French Lick up next. They may not see the end zone for awhile.
16) Smash Mouth Silverbacks (last week #16)
Silverbacks get the Tulsa Doom and the Starkville Cows in their next 3 games, so they may be able to get into the W column soon.
Predictions:
Tulsa Teamsters > Chicago Shockers
LaCrosse River Rats > Walla Walla Wackers **Game of the Week**
Island Shaka Brah's > Lone Star Leopards
Fremont Warriors > Starkville Cows
