Elite Teams

3-0-0 Valhalla Vikings
Possibly the most consistent of the Elite teams so far this season.
Vikings have the offense to win any game, and defensively, they get a little tougher with every game.
I predict a comfortable top 4 seed for Helluin and the rest of the Vikings.

3-0-0 Wembley Warriors
The one team in all of WEPL that can explode at anytime, in a good or bad way.
Always likely to win, against any opposition, they have the ability to win a game on offense or defense.
Need to keep focussed, but they are looking better than they ever have, and are probably expecting to go one game further this season.

Contenders

2-1-0 Fightin' Texas Aggies
FTA slipped up against Mercs, who have a habit of leaving bannana skins lying around.
Still a powerhouse offense, and with some of the best indidual defensive players in WEPL.
But do they have the cohesion to go all the way this season?
Victory over WooJacks sees them top the contenders pile.

1-2-0 Woodridge Lumberjacks
I had to drop WooJacks out of Elite status, owing to two losses.
But those losses came against what could be considered two of the top 4 teams in Alpha.
WooJacks have yet to put out a full force display, and you wonder what they are holding back, but this season competition is fierce, and with two important tiebreaker losses already, could this be the first time since season 1 that the WEPL champions dont have to fight their way through "The Woods"?
I wonder if Warriors VS WooJacks will be a first round game this season????........... Nah!
WooJacks will finish at least 12-4 and secure 4th spot.

3-0-0 Lake Charles Who Dats
Undefeated, but yet to face a serious challenge, LCWD had a pretty easy start to the season.
Probably the best of the rest right now, as opposed to elite, but a inability to compete at the very top sees them placed behind FTA and WooJacks.
They now face a punishing schedule all the way through to Game 15.
If they are going to get to the top they will do it the hard way, vs fully boosted top tier teams with refined playbooks.

2-1-0 Berlin Blitzkrieg
Berlin needs to find an offense and fast.
They have Vikings & Who Dats up in succession, then after a one game pit stop (Paris) they get FTA, AWC & Warriors.
With WooJacks late in the season Berlin could be struggling to find a play off spot, let alone a top 4 spot going into Game 15 v Mercs and 16 vs Paris (Zeta)
Those are two teams that will happily dump a good team on its arse.
They say defense wins championships, and Berlin have let up an avg of 16.5 points per game against decent opposition.
But they only scored an avg 13 themselves.
Will need a lot more in the next two games I think.

Bubble Teams

2-1-0 E-City Mercenaries
2-1-0 London Monarchs
2-1-0 Aberdeen Wrecking Crew
1-2-0 Toledo Swords

Need Help

1-2-0 Chicago Rocks
A good strong team, that have struggled to step up to the Pro's. It happens (Well in WEPL it does anyway!)
No worry of relegation at all, but a hellish schedule might mean missing out on a Play Off spot.
Last 4 games are all must wins for the Tourists.

1-2-0 Paris Philharmonic
Paris need to address today the problems they will have next season.
I think they have just enough to stay up this time round, but they are at risk of getting blown away next season.
Paris are by no means a eay team, in fact they might be looking at becoming a yo-yo team, promoted and relegated each season.

1-2-0 Stuttgart Nighthawks
A big relegation battle win for Nighthawks eases some of the tension away.
Their offense is stepping it up, and they are trying to resurrect what was one of the better defenses in the League.
They have the element of surprise on a lot of teams, and could exploit that to sneak into a play off spot.
But the likelihood is they struggle to move forward, with 3 of their toughest games in a row.
If they are 1-5 going into the Lions game it could be a close call.

In Trouble Teams

0-3-0 Carthage Army Of Darkness
Carthage are in deep trouble.
With the WooJacks coming-a-calling, I cant see them being anything other than 0-4 going into their dogfight with BML.
Last game they needed to win to ensure they controlled their own fate, this game they need to win or they are relegated.

0-3-0 Blackpool Mountain Lions
They have everything they need to be competitive, and one or two additions would see them make strides away from their fellow strugglers.
Despite their lowly standing traditionally, BML has a very effective passing game, and that can lead to good or bad things, see Patriots, Colts, Bengals and Detriot Lions.

Relegated Already
0-3-0 Richmond Renegades

"Can explode at any time." I can't help but think the same. As great as our season has started, I feel I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I think Valhalla keeps the "most predictable award", Berlin is the only team in the league we've never beat.

I was actually talking to a friend a few nights ago...he was upset that his team got blown out against a "lower ranking team" for no apparent reason. I had to point out to him that some teams just have your number, and showed him our track record against Berlin as an example.

Not sure yet, I need to review the game.
The result looks good, but if Vikings had one bad input that accounts for the blowout it might have a effect, if it was a straight beating, then yeah you would be on your way back to the top tier.

However as for being Elite, you have 1 win vs a top tier team, and one loss to a bubble team, so that evens out a bit.

You did look very poor against Monarchs, and tactically it was easy to see why, but you didnt fix it right away.

Havent checked your game today, but I assume that either you fixed it or Vikings made a error somewhere.

Unlike most people, I dont do rankings based on results, its based on what happened.

FTA will slip after their loss, because it was all tactical.

E-City will jump up, not just because of the win, but the way in which they got the wins Vs FTA and AWC.

Nighthawks are getting Stronger and Swords and Carthage are getting worse.

Blackpool seem to be close to breaking through with a strong performance against Warriors.

Funny fact, last "week" we were the best of the 2-1 teams, now we are the worst of the 3-1 teams. I take the record though

Good game AWC, I am glad we could overcome those sacks from Jimmy Johnston. Dang that guy is annoying <g>

FTA apparently had their glaring weakness on D exposed once again, if they are not careful they might end up in more trouble than everyone would have expected, especially after beating the Lumberjacks.

And I must say it feels really odd to be able to look down on Woodridge in the standings. Not for too long I reckon, but for now I enjoy the view

After todays game I am dropping FTA down the rankings, quite a bit.

Not only was ZZ right about poor tactics, but their builds were exposed as well.

Still got a very high power offense though.

I don't see how the monarchs are a bubble team but I am biased
