I'm stealing HB's method of showing last week's rank cause its simple and easy to follow. current rank(last week's rank)
1(2) Krakatoan Red Warriors (3-0)- NACJAC's loss is Krak's gain. Blowing out teams they should, and a solid win against Ho Chi (aided by 3 lost fumbles) has them at the top of my Power Rankings. The week 5 matchup against NACJAC will be oh so sweet as Krakatoa will try to avenge last year's playoff defeat.
2(3) Ho Chi Minh Hot Mamas (2-1)- This could very easily be NACJAC's spot, but going by strength of schedule lands BigRat's Hoes in the 2 spot. Another intriguing week 5 matchup looms, as the Mamas travel to Manila to face the newcomer Warlords.
3(1) Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon (2-1)- As we all witnessed last year, NACJAC is a very tough team, but not unbeatable. A rematch of the Zeta Champ. game from a year before awaits this week with Bangkok coming to town.
4(5) Taiwan Blood Pandas (3-0)- I'm probably going to catch a lot of flak for this one, but one solid win doesn't jump you to the top of this conference. The Pandas should cruise through the next few weeks to start their Pro Season debut off right, but they drew a matchup week 16 against a surprisingly lethal Pattaya team from Alpha that just upset a stalwart in their conference. Let us remember that a regular season victory does not ensure jack shit come playoff time.
5(4) Bangkok Tweetys (2-1) A good win against a reeling Ducks team this week, can they capitalize on some momentum hangover from NACJAC's loss in their face-off with the league champs next week?
6(6) Hong Kong Highlanders (2-1) Blowout victory against a rebuilt 4077th team. This team boasts the league's 5th best rushing attack and looks to continue grooving toward their week 7 matchup with the Pandas. Should be an Instant Classic(tm).
7(7) Manila Warlords (3-0) Again, strength of schedule is this teams worst enemy in the beginning of the season. The good news is they have three convincing wins and have a chance to really flex their collective muscle in two weeks against the Hot Mamas. A victory will ensure a jump straight into the top 5.
8 Metro Heroes (2-1) Two wins against teams they should probably beat, but a shot through the heart with the Warlords to blame give this team a bad name (i'm pretty drunk by this time). This is a team I left off the list last time, but they are never out of the middle of the pack, hunting for that last coveted playoff spot. An interesting match against my #10 team is next and will sort out the bottom of this list.
9(8) Guangzhou Ducks (0-3)- If the Ducks are ever going to advance in the Zeta playoffs, they will need to find a way to beat the teams they are playing right now. A hard fought loss is still a number on the wrong side of the hyphen at the end of the day. They are up against the current #1 Zeta team this week and face a debilatating 0-4 start if they can't turn it around in a hurry.
10(9) Port Moresby Titans (1-2)- A disappointing loss to a mediocre Kentucky team drops these guys to the bottom. They will need a win this week to avoid being dropped from the list entirely.
New to the list this week: Metro Heroes.
Dropped from the list this week: 4077th M.A.S.H.
Matchups to watch this week:
Krakatoan Red Warriors (3-0) at Guangzhou Ducks (0-3)
Bangkok Tweetys (2-1) at NACJAC (2-1) **Game of the Week**
