Can someone tell me what you need in order to get your Kicking bar to dark green? What is it based on?
Thanks

A lot of different things. And no one knows exactly which ones, or how much of each you need.

kicking and confidence are the biggest factors.

As major attributes...I would assume they contribute most. Seen increases in my Kicking bar whilst training Agility too.

Firenze, ya and it seems like STR/VIS also play a part.

I have a host of punters (and have retired several others). My goal was to answer exactly this question. There are many factors to the punter's green line (punting, confidence, strength, jumping, etc.). With these variables, and enough data points, one can calculate the equation used to create the line. I have discovered exactly this equation. I'm confident that a very similar equation is used for kickers, and probably something similar for all other players.

I will not reveal this equation.

Note, however, that the number in the green line does not correlate as clearly to things like punting average, punts inside the 10 yard line, etc. So I'm not sure there is much value to this equation.

Thanks for sharing that you know the answer but won't share it. That really cleared things up for the rest of us.

He's blowing smoke - if he had it he would share. It's not like giving away top secret material to the commies...

Hell, who cares about the "Green Bar?" I just want to know where I can get me one of them sombreros?

Eh, look at all of his punters. I'm sure the equation is quite simple, and he has it no problem. Its most likely just a weighted sum of particular attributes, in which case his absurd number of linear equations would be easily solvable. The trick is to find out what you did RIGHT when the bar moved, so you can set up a more exact equation.

This would be easy for all positions, and I'm actually shocked nobody has organized a project to discover the formulas for all bars.

will I get it to 60 at level 16??? it was 54 at level 15.... and 51 at level 14.

Major: Punting, Confidence
Minor: Strength, Vision, Agility, Speed, Jumping, Throwing
---all of these will increase your punting rating some more than others. I think the order in which they are raised also takes into effect on the rating.

Throwing? I realize it is a minor attribute but does it help punting?

May or may not be, but it's a worthless post regardless. People who say "I know but I'm not going to tell you" are either children or attention seekers. IMO anyway.
