Just a quick attempt...
(2-0) Lake Charles Who Dats vs. Richmond Renegades (0-2)
Who Dats will be moving to 3-0, and have a good shot at making it 4-0 with Chicago Rocks coming up, but they then have a tough middle section of the season with Vikings, Berlin and FTA in quick succession.
Renegades might make a FG.
(1-1) Berlin Blitzkrieg vs. Chicago Rocks (1-1)
A great match up to really test the new guys.
So far the tourists have had a walk over against Richmond, and were then brought back to reality by Vikings.
Berlin are already at make or break point, and would really be in trouble with a unexpected loss here.
Chicago have more than enough about them to cause some problems, but I look for Berlin's defense to step up after a slow start, and their offense to just do enough.
(1-1) Aberdeen Wrecking Crew vs. Blackpool Mountain Lions (0-2)
BML have been getting better slowly, but they still seem to be off the pace.
I belive they will need 4 wins this season to avoid relegation, and they have the Pimps in Interleague, so they need to pick up an upset win somewhere.
Games 5,6 & 7 will be the key to their season.
AWC are the single most streaky team in GLB, and they need to bounceback from defeat to the Woo Jacks quickly as they have the opportunity to go 6-1 given their fixtures.
If AWC slip up they could be down on tie breaks early in the season against teams like Monarchs and Mercs, and could be struggling to make the play offs.
AWC will win this one, but it will be closer than expected, I go with 27-10.
(2-0) Fightin' Texas Aggies vs. E-City Mercenaries (1-1)
FTA are sitting high atop Alpha after a Game 1 win over WooJacks.
But its teams like Mercs that they need to be worried about.
Mercs have had so many upset victories that its stopped being a surprise.
but they are going into a hellish part of their schedule, with their next 7 games looking tough.
ZZ will want to get wins under his belt early, and focus on the playoffs, and not have to worry about relegation.
I still think FTA are a top 4 team, and this is a game where they will need to prove it.
(0-2)Carthage Army Of Darkness vs. Stuttgart Nighthawks (0-2)
It might be early in the season, but I think the winner of this game avoids relegation.
Neither team are bad at all, in fact they would both be likely to challenge for the title in AAA.
But this is a tough season, and they are both at risk.
A loss today could be crucial in a tie break situation, and will put that team under intense pressure Vs BML.
(2-0) Valhalla Vikings vs. Toledo Swords (1-1)
I expect a very good game from both offenses here.
Vikings seem to have the edge on defense, but do not be surprised to see Swords edge this one.
I expect a high scoring affair, settled late in the 4th Qtr.
(1-1)Paris Philharmonic vs. London Monarchs (1-1)
Paris have yet to announce their pressence in WEPL, after a unimpressive win against BML, and a bad loss to Mercs.
They will therefore probably bounce back against my Monarchs team.
Monarchs have been trying to regroup after being left without direction last season, and are getting better as time progresses.
If Paris Lost they are deep in relegation trouble, if its a Monarchs loss they will be struggling to make the playoffs, so no pressure there then.
***Game of the Week***
Wembley Warriors vs. Woodridge Lumberjacks
0-6 says it all.
Or does it?
WooJacks own Warriors, but some of those games have been very close games, and while Warriors have never looked better, Woojacks almost look human.
It seems to be now or never for Warriors.
but if WooJacks were to start the season 1-2 would they be able to battle back from their first ever real test???

Although we did not beat FTA the way I expected it to happen, but I take the win regardless. Besides that, anyone out there who wants to become my OC? My random numbers approach really sucks, settling for FG attempts from their 5, 9, 10, 12.5? No wonder we play every game close
In the end we got lucky our defense made up for that missed tackle festival with the return TD.
