He's dropping a lot of balls, so I'm not really sure what to work on with him. It's my first WR build, so any help for now and in the future is very much appreciated!

Hey! He simply just needs catching. I'm guessing that he's a speed WR, so I'd suggest soft capping agility then getting catching to at least 40.

I abandoned soft capping to develop him more well rounded for the team. I'm not so sure I really want to keep worrying about speed so much, but I do need to get agility soft capped.

Is it worth it to abandon speedster SA's? I was thinking about redoing my custom and putting them on possession, as it seems like those are the SA's that will help him catch the ball more as a rounded WR.

Well I can't really say how effective the speedster SAs are as I haven't put many points into them. But I do know that first step, quick cut and head fake are all active throughout the route so they get you separation therefore making it easier to catch the ball. I don't think the possession SAs will help that much until you've got your catching up after agility.

I'd also recommend training confidence, since with low confidence if he drops one ball he's more likely to drop another.

Finish soft capping agility and then soft cap catching. All SAs suck. Stats are better.

I had another 6 dropped passes today. I really wanted to hold off boosting him, but I think I might need to for the betterment of the team.

Uh actually the s.a's for wide receivers help him get open... That's complete non sense. out of all the positions in GLB i think Wide receiver having s.a's are the most important.

Focus on agility and catching...soft cap both. You have plenty of time for SAs in a season or two. Balanced early means average player later...focus on your primary stats.

If you want to be effective sooner rather than later, put at least 10 points into catching right away. Softcapping agility first may help slightly more in the long run, but if you go that route you're going to keep dropping passes for another couple levels. Also, play on hard intensity if you aren't already.

Here's my idea for you..

Step 1 Softcap Agility

Step 2 Softcap Catching

Train Vision while doing this, once you get both softcapped begin training strength, will help you get away from CBs, who match your speed. Pump an occasional few SPs into "First Step" and "Quick Cut"

Thanks for the comments guys. I was just over reacting to some dropped balls. I know what I need to do, as everyone has been saying, soft cap agility and then work on catching.
