1. Birmingham Beavers The Beavers will remain on top for beating the Rahls. Yes they are not great but and are about to be gutted by they are not gutted as of yet and thw win means a little more then people would expect. Beavers still deserve to be on top for right now. They play the Vikings in week 3.

2. Fort Richardson Redskins To be honest they should have beat the Tomahawks by more however, they still have a good 2 more easier games on there schedule before they play teams worth while. Until then they are still my number 2.

3. Amarillo Isotopes They had another good win over the Army but now they will be facing the Wedgies who are coming off a loss to the Tigers. Amarillo and new owner look to be really doing well and the team looks the best it's ever been about now.

4. Raleigh Fighting Tigers A great win over the 5th ranked Wedgies is good for them. Tigers play Flathead next which should end up in a blowout in favor of them. After that they go out and face the Monkey's.

5. Java Monkeys Monkeys look like they have the easiest schedule and with the Lowriders next it continues that way. However, they are 2-0 and a 3-0 start will be great for these guys. Week 4 will be a test.

6. Las Vegas Aces Ok you sent a message. Beating the Vikings is good I suppose. The Army may be a bit tougher though... oh what the heck no they won't beat these guys by 50+ and I will be happy.

7. Atomic Wedgies Wedgies had a tough loss to be honest but they can bounce back here if they beat the Isotopes. They are untimately projected to lose but anything can happen in the West right?

8. Miami Breakers Hold your spots breakers. Rahls are up next and they should beat them with this team plumiting down hill pretty darn fast. A loss will set them back quite a bit though.

9. San Antonio Rahls Rahls moved up after they got killed? Yes, that's right. What you want me to put Ditka back up a number 9? Rahls might pulled off an upset and go 2-1.

10. Ditka's Army You lose two most likely going to be 3 here tomorrow when they play the Aces. The Army just doesn't have the firepower to compete as of right now.

11. San Antonio Gunslingers Honestly? This team was close to the Monkeys? I am keeping an eye out for this team for sure now. A win against the Redskins will be huge if they can pull it off. Is this team for real or just a fake?

Good as usual. Looks like the matchup of the week is the Wedgies and Topes. The early season has only had one good match up so far. We are a few days away from FRR and Raleigh.

I still think Topes would be my #1 followed by the Beavers, Skins, Aces and Tigers.

It's tough to rank the teams "appropriately" after the first few games. Once the matchups start to heat up we'll really be able to tell where a lot of teams are. But I agree with you, the 'Topes have one hell of a squad this year, especially their offense.

You are right, this early in the season with so few big games (probably one really good matchup so far)the rankings are tough.

The Topes offense vs the Beavers defense will be a great match up, it just a shame it is so far away.

Whereas I do appreciate the effort that goes into these ratings, and I enjoy reading them; I have to wonder how the Java Monkeys, whom we (the Wedgies) beat 52-14 last year, is rated higher than us? We've added seven high level players to our team while losing only one since then. I know this is speculation but facts are are not speculative.

I'd probably argue in your favor too, Hitmen, but the Java Monkeys do suck considerably less this season.

I'm loving these rankings! Honestly, the 'Topes may have a good squad this year, but we are untested. It's like preseason rankings, they mean nothing. We've only beaten the Redskins one time, and that was in the postseason. We've never beat the Beavers. Until we beat both of those teams, I'll take the underdog role!

Hey what do you mean untested, we had a lead on you last game even if it was for only 27 seconds. Ditka's Army has a very tough first three games but we are getting better and we will get some more w's than we did last year.

After we play the Monkeys then you'll have a common opponent which should make things a little clearer

Beavers are loving being at #1 in your ratings, but the Topes look incredibly tough and the Skins always give us hell!!!

Its a shame so many teams are being gutted...especially seeing as we seem to play them before they go down that route!!!

Isotopes: Sorry for the crumby game on the part of the Wedgies. My DC didn't setup the defense because he didn't have the time today. I have no idea what AI was even used so I can't even get anything useful from the game. Maybe a friendly game later?
