I don't think tactics make much of a difference so I am gonna post or tactics here for the rest of or games this season to see what happens.

We only use basic settings aside from a few different 4th down scenarios. I removed any Goallline formation as well. I may expand it to Defensive tactics as well.

What I would love for is the teams we play to post their tactics they used against us so we can analyze the data and discuss how important tactics may be if at all.

I wish I would have done this from game 1 but sorry Boston.

are you asking for the posts before or after the game? Just checking because I'll do so for after the game... before... well I like to hold on to the illusion that I have a little control over how the play goes. Kind of like any coach who has a great game plan only to see the players screw it all up

And serious, for all the posting you did/do on the advanced AI forums, you really do not use them at all? I was surprised to say the least when you posted that here.

After of course.

Well there isn't much you can do with ADV O AI as it is. I have a very basic D AI. Which I will probably add after I see how the offense goes. I am not expecting any real discovery from what I already assume from the SIM but it can't hurt us learning what we can in this way.

I guess I will explain the 4th down situations also.

We will go for it on 4th and .05 yd with a HB run 80% or FB 20% right up the gut between the 50 and our opponents 40.

We go for it on 4th and our opponents 2 with the same percentages and play as above.

I think tactics make a pretty big difference in games. For the Riobamba Predators last season we did not use the advanced ai much on either offense or defense. In the playoffs, we implemented a full offense and defense ai. We were the #5 seed going into the playoffs, then upset the #4, #1 and #2 teams in the conference. We also gained more yards than the #1 team from the other conference in the league championship game. We were outmatched according to the team match-ups in at least 3 of those 4 games. Here is the team link.

Leaving tactics the same. So far I wish Mighty wolda participated but maybe our next opponent that is at least an even matchup will.

Yeah, I don't think posting the Palmetto Bugs Tactics will matter at all. We are way, way overmatched.

you still doing this? I know no one else has posted but if you are still willing when you get to the Slugs we can either do it here or in PMs if you'd like. I am interested to see if it can be affected by tactics at all.

Well first off: Sorry! I didn't really read this until now.

We rely on the advanced AI mostly (and I'm not giving out those plays). So I'm not sure how much it would really tell you about the game if I gave you the basic settings.
We played 4-3 against you, with a lot of cover 2. If my notes are correct, I think we had the basic settings to something like:
15% blitz
25 run / 75 pass
45 inside / 55 outside
10% zone / 90 man
5 short / 60 medium / 35 long

ok just curious then, what are your defense settings. I would not adjust my offense to attack a D but just curious in case you wanted to post.
Also if you'd like to do a scrim with tactics agreed on before the game I'm game for that too.

That is one pessimistic bull frog. He is done with this game soon, I am pretty sure. If you think he will scrim you all... lol?

I don't have the FP to scrim people but I had no problem using our regular season games to let our opponents know or tactics because I still don't think they matter due to the RNG aspect of the game. I mean the problems in the code and constant tweaks do't give us any stable ground to work with. We don't know anything about how SAs or even what attributes can fully do. To much guesswork, I like to know what does what. Even if you know our tactics the RNG may put us in a run and your RNG put you in a pass defense and we run for 8 yds so I know knowing tactics won't matter.
