Looking at the poll linked off the front page, it looks like the league restructuring thing is going to win it. Anyone else worried they're going to get relegated to some backwards Oceania league?

I fucking HOPE NOT.....we need to get on the main forums and start getting heard.
I like this league, I like the guys on the other teams, and I like our league forum. I don't want to change. Change is bad.....look at Michael Jackson if you don't believe me.

If they restructure, it needs to be inside the regions. I think most of us would still be here then.
I'd rather see faster relegation/promotion (4 teams). Reorganizing the leagues is too complicated......what are they going to base it on, levels? That would be the biggest joke ever.

Man, if they take us away from the WEPL, or any of our non-gutted teams, I might just be done with this game. What Bort don't seem to realize is that there will always be some teams who get gutted. People will quit this game. The promotion system would have worked excellent, and has worked quite well, but failed in the end because it didn't account for gutted teams. Basically, it would be perfect if nobody ever quit the game, but people do. And will keep doing, all the time. What we need is a system that can send down a gutted team to the lowest league and bring in a 2nd tier replacement ASAP. Simple.

It would be too tricky to move teams up midseason.

Essentially they just need more promotions and relegation to account for the gutting. No reason for a team like Antwerp that could be competitive in Pro to be in AAA for 4 seasons while we get shit like Copenhagen up here.

To be honest, I don't even really want them to restructure within regions. I like watching Brutus choke every season. It makes me feel better about me.
EDIT - just to clarify, watching Brutus fail doesn't make me feel any better....I'm just fishing to see if he reads the Pro forums

That's what I'm talking about.....if it had been at 4 teams, we'd have had no gut jobs already last season.

But unfortunately, some good teams will get relegated if there is league restructuring.
I would just prefer to make a WEPL federation and allow us to choose who plays here and how many get promoted and so forth. Give the players some power.

Just like the *cows.
It's funny. Almost like the movie Ground Hog Day.

I voted for the more promotion/relegation slots option. Good teams would move up quicker, and gutted teams move down quicker.
If they restructure everything and throw us in a random league, I might be done with the game.
As for the 2nd poll, I didn't like any of the options so I didn't vote. I'd rather see a linear/pyramid hybrid ladder where the top few leagues only are 1 division wide and then spreads out into a pyramid as you get down into the 4th/5th tier.

I liked the NCAA pick your games idea. Although there would be no benefit to playing a good team.
