Well, we never really talked much in the forums, but I wanted to come say a possible farewell to you all. It was great playing against all you guys and BBB #3 was the best league I was in.

The Pittsburgh Steel Curtain went CPU owned last night by a mistake. The owner thought he was paid up on the team til season 6 but apparently it was season 5. He got the alert that he was expiring but didn't see it and the CPU took over last night.

We have pm'd support all day with no responses and I contacted a forum mod and asked him to post a message for the admin's to see so maybe they could get the team back to the owner or even transfer it over to me. The response was pretty much "to late, he shouldn't have made the error of not seeing the alert and there is not much we can do." Again, he said he would let the admin's know so maybe there is a slim chance. But it isn't looking very good.

I will be staying up until rollover tonight and if the team gets taken over by some new owner who was next on the list, I will be removing my players from the team and most likely not playing this game anymore. Don't see why I should play (and pay) for a game that doesn't allow for any human error at all and if you do make a mistake it either takes forever to get help or there is nothing they can do.

So if this is it, peace guys. It was a blast and you all are a bunch of classy guys and I'm actually glad we never won a championship because it was great playing against all of you season after season.

Wow, sorry to hear about your problem. Hope things get worked out for you. Sidewinders would hate to see a strong competitor fall by the way side.

looks like the Steel Curtain is owned by The Dominator tonight so maybe they got it fixed.

Yep. The hours I spent pm'ing mods and so forth paid off. The team was restored. We're back in business.

yay i really like to competion in this league and it is by far one of the better leagues im in! and a team liek yours is one that i always look for in the playoffs

I'm glad this was fixed - that would have sucked big time! Pitt is solid competition in this conference - glad you guys are sticking around.

Also glad to see this fixed, the Steel Curtain are a formidabe opponent and I hope to battle them again some point in the future!

That's a better deal. I would have seriously considered this my last season had they not allowed Dominator to own the team again. I would not pay money to play a game if I couldn't trust them to do the right thing when push came to shove. Glad you guys are still around!!

i agree, curtain has history in the east and tradition. Like to keep that around
