Cover 0 doubles WR1, WR3 and the TE (no safety help) Cover 1 doubles WR1 and the TE (safety plays mid field) Cover 2 doubles WR1 ("standard" safeties) Cover 3 doesn't double, but CB1, CB2 drop back into the area where the passes are most likely, while CB3, CB4 and SS cover the WRs (FS plays midfield) Cover 4 should not be used on 3rd and 10
