Going on what i've seen, the top equipment generally seems to have +2 or +3 of a stat. +1 to a SA. So, who has been lucky and picked up a piece of such equipment where both the stat and SA are applicable to the player.

Got lucky once so far from all my players, my DE rolled trash but,

30 DT

Agility +3, +1 Strong Base SA.

So who else has got some luck?

Wow, that's a pretty amazing piece of gear. I got only crap with my DT. I think my plan for the year is going to be train intense until I get 10 tokens, then start doing normal training to try and find good new equipment. Bort has said that higher level means a higher chance to get better equipment so I'm figuring it makes the most sense to invest my training this way.

Good equipment is still pretty slim, have 8 guys of lvl27 plus, and only saw the one useful piece of equipment.

EDIT: Hmm....realised I had some shopping tokens left on my DE, what do people think about the value of +5% to interception for DEs, seems like only a minor skill for a DE but would be huge for a CB.

Yeah, I rolled a similar piece. I'm thinking that if it works at all for a DE it would be +5% when the QB throws the ball over your player's head, meaning you take that +5 and divide it by 4 to get the actual effective rate.

Would only help on dump passes to the HB or FB.

Anyways, I think the equipment goes up in worth as you hit different level tiers. I'm probably going to wait till 32 on most of my players before shopping again.

To sum up the training system, are my assumptions correct:

You receive 2 training points a day, new players receive 7 at player creation.

You can either train normally or intensely

If you train on normal you:
- Can get a token to go shopping
- Can go out and build up your morale
- Can receive an additional bonus to your training over baseline PCT
- Cost 2 training points

If you train on intense you:
- Are training 2 different abilities at a slightly increased rate over baseline PCT
- Receive 1 Bonus Token
- Cost 5 training points

To go shopping in the Advanced Equipment store located in your "Buy New Equipment" section:
- It costs 1 shopping token to refresh the list of items available

With 10 Bonus Tokens you can:
- Gain an SP (may cost cash also)
- Upgrade an ability stat on Advance Equipment (may cost a little cash)
- Upgrade the normal equipment (may cost a little cash also)

It only costs 4 Bonus Tokens to gain an SP and unless Bort changed it recently you can't upgrade normal equipment with bonus tokens.

to make my own opinion, what you gonna do guys ? Train intense or normal ? Save tokens to get a sp or go shopping every day ?

Depends on the character's level. All my recently created experimental characters are using intense offset with an occasional normal. My higher characters only training intense with reviewing game film, otherwise they really do not have many options to choose from. Its tempting to retire my highest level character to recreate and take full advantage of this new system.

I've got 2 pieces I'm considering..

+2 vision, +3% force fumble chance - tough to place a value on this

+2 vision, +1 Wall SA

Superior Yellow Gloves
+3 agility
Make tackle chance +2%

Best one I've found for a D-Lineman.

What level were your players when you got these (anything remotely useful for players in the level 15-18 range)?
