I think if you train on intense 10 times then you get tokens which let you upgrade your new equipment.

You can only upgrade the stats on the adv equipment. So no upgrading SAs or %s.

So that piece of equip can never be upgraded? That does not seem right...
Can you upgrade that piece of equip with regular attributes?

Right, you only upgrade it with regular attributes and if you train intense all year long then you can upgrade it twice a year. So by the end of the year you could have a Break block chance +3%, Deflect ball chance +5% +2 Strength pink visor.

so you think that the best is to always train intense ?

I did my math wrong, you can't get +2 a year, but you can get kinda close. It's not best to always train intense, you have to train normal some to get new equipment.
