Has anyone tried playing their SS at ROLB? LOLB? If so, what were the results? I'm just curious... It seems like it would be an easy transition skills-wise for a hard-hitting SS, but I have no idea what the out of position penalty is.

i played corner my freshman year and also played OLB so its not that hard to do so, roy williams can easily qualify as a OLB.

Yeah, in real life I've switched between SS and OLB myself, and I think there are plenty of SS's in the NFL who could do it... Just wondering how effective it is in the game.

my SS played ROLB some in our first scrimmage game. at times it actually seemed like he looked lost and didn't belong on the field...
