Went and looked at everyones stadiums and i am VERY suprised at the teams that have had success and have done little to their stadiums.

here is the top 3 in BBB #1 as far as capacity.

#1. Over the Rhine Red Dots / 52,520
#2. Louisville Nighthawks / 50,320
#3. Colorado Springs Flyers / 41,040

These are really the only 3 that will be able to afford level 32 upgrades the rest I really don't know what you guys are going to do... if you pay your players the money they deserve you won't have any money to do upgrades for next season. If you dont pay them the money they deserve they will be behind everyone else in equipment; and quite possibly might not re-up their contract. Some of the more important players on some teams remain unsigned for season 5; where will they end up? who knows but im sure players are starting to look at the teams financial decisions and think is a team with only a 15,000 max capacity stadium really going to be able afford other play makers? Some of the bad decisions in seasons 1, 2 and 3 are now going to hold back some of those teams.

#3 Surprises me the other 2 don't.
Sometime I think I made a mistake by trying to be competitive right off the bat. I either had to over pay to get talent here or buy it in fire sales (2.8M) last season.

But we have a building plan, a minimum of 1/3 of all income goes into the stadium every year.

Kickers... anyone?

I know the Cutters will not be contending this season, but since this is a stadium thread I'd like to add that we currently have a capacity of 50,340. Since our player level is low, by the time we hit level 32, upgrades will not be a problem. Until then we'll just train on hard.

the S.O.B. ain't so bad, unless your sitting on the visitors side!!

http://goallineblitz.com/game/stadium.pl?team_id=1282

in this league we have many teams that had been gutted and taken over by new ownership. when that happens, generally, like in the situation I had taking over the Buffalo Bullets 2 seasons ago, the previous owner has left the team in a bad finacial state. The owners that stuck with their team from the start have quality stadiums.

i think having a winning team and a starting spot will still be the greatest pull factor. in my opinion, money is low on the list. 200,000$ is not worth +1 point to me.

wrong on this one.......

unless you're absolutely retarded, you're using your equipment on something that by the time you hit lvl 32 is likely to the 2nd or third cap... In that case, it's 200K for 3 pts.

I partially agree with this point. But it all depends on your players being responsible with those equipment points. Before I hand out that kind of money, I want to know how they are going to apply it first. If I don't like it, I'll negotiate it's placement then pay it out. But for a veteran team, the irresponsible agents/players will have been weeded out.

As far as the Freedom goes, I don't expect to have to pay out L32 equipment until season 6 and by then, I hope we do well enough this season to finish off the second level of our stadium. The previous owner left us with only the default level 1 sidelines and two additional sections and I managed to more than double our capacity by building 6 new sections, the maximum. I could have gone 7, but didn't have the configuration to allow it, so we were stuck at 6.

btw, you've already payed for the other points. its 200k MORE to get one MORE point. its just unfair and not really worth it.

No, I'm saying that if you were to use SP to add 1 point to something that was to the second cap already, it would cost you 3 SP. So, say I was a lvl 32 center with 90 strength. If I spent SP, it would cost me 3 SP to get to 91, OR, I could spend 200k and basically get 3 SP for it to boost strength to 91. ya feel?

... YOUR PAYING 200K TO UP YOUR STAT 1 POINT!

idk if i can make it more clear

basically, to raise something 4 pts after it's to the second cap, it would cost you 12 SP (nearly a full season's worth of boosts). Or, as a responsible team owner, I can provide equipment giving my players 4 pts onto that attribute and putting them nearly a full seasons worth of boosts ahead of those that don't.

I understand exactly what you're saying.... I think you're missing my point though. You're looking at each point as a point. I'm looking at each point as what it would cost in SP, which is more important after you start crossing the softcaps
