Train jumping a bit more so you can get more diving tackles and, if you can, try to consolidate your equipment into one attribute. If not, then just keep getting your Strength and Agility up and I would recommend getting your Speed to the soft cap. That's what I'm trying to do with my level 25 right now, but it's easier said than done.

Here's his build:
Strength: 83.56 Blocking: 19.79
Speed: 39.61 Tackling: 35.56
Agility: 56.56 Throwing: 8
Jumping: 18.67 Catching: 10
Stamina: 30.65 Carrying: 7
Vision: 28.91 Kicking: 9
Confidence: 26.28 Punting: 7

4-7-3-5-1 in Pass Rush
1-2-0-0-0 in Run Stuff

Condense all your equipment down into strength, set training to jumping. Honestly, DTs don't get a lot of stats, they have to get through blockers to get a sack or tackle.

consolidating is a pricey thing at this point, lol. But we'll see what happens. And jumping is what im training now, wanted to get the confidence up a little bit.

btw, thanks for your input.

Yeah, and I get maybe 15 plays on defense a game the last 3 seasons This season I'll be a starter at least and we'll see how that goes. Obviously, you're the expert so you can feel free to help him out, but I don't see how that advice is wrong. I've had my Strength and Agility high for a long time and it hasn't dont shit for me so I figure the main difference has got to be speed

more strength speed and alittle bit more vision should do wonders for your build

and if you have much equipment in agility i would think about moving atleast 5 points into strength

I'm having a hard time as well since the changes, but while strong base and strength don't help much rushing the passer anynmore, they still seem to work great at run stopping and clogging the middle. For the most part between my DT and an NT we will account for the LG, RG, an OC on 95% of the plays; RG's with decent vision/agility seem to slide over and help the LG block me the few times they aren't doubling the NT. Often the RB/FB end up chipping down on my DT as well. Blitzing and DE's have a much easier time of it with a good DT who can get a good push up the middle.

But maybe some of these other guys have better idea's to make your DT better by himself, instead of by extension, I don't know and don't feel like going through and checking everyones stats on the season.

Jumping really means nothing, don't listen to that. Hell, my Jumping is like 9 still; never put a single point into it.
