In our last game, the QB threw to our RB 16 times eventhough the RB % was set at zero. What can I change to avoid this in the future?

Get faster, more agile receivers.

You could also try the Favor Long Passes QB tactic.

Have the QB look at their advanced tactics tab for the selection list "HB/FB Dump Pass"
They can choose: Never, Sometimes, or Often.

The default is set to Sometimes. This I think was added this season. The QB on our team did not see it until mid season. I was trying to figure out why we kept dumping to the HB even though I had it set to 0% in the Team tactics. Once I had him set his player's advance tactics to Never then it fixed the issue. (Which is what Kevincox posted).
