You know what makes this incredibly stupid.
That I have a DE that is the same or better almost everywhere (except big sack) relative to level, with 3 less speed, and had 2 sacks all season.
So go figure.
This just furthers my belief that something was incredibly wrong with the way the games were working for us. Couldn't even get a sack against level 11 gutted OTs.

What is the D-line general SA at on your team's NT. Look at his NT. D-line general is at like 9.
Also, tactics, the rest of your team, and competition make a difference. If you are playing teams with OT's that only have 25-35 agility you will get more sacks. If you are going against OTs with 45+ agility you will get less sacks. If there is a great DT beside your DE then you are more likely to get sacks. If coverage in the secondary is better and the QB holds the ball longer, you are more likely to get sacks.

Good point.
Our NT had d-line general at 5. And I made a mistake, my DE has 3 less speed not 5, but is 4 levels lower.
Our DT is also the same as their DT, except maybe 4-5 less strength and 4-5 more agility.
This build isn't the best way to go though. There's a better way to do it that I'm doing with younger DEs now. It's just pretty annoying to see the results this guy got, when I had none with an older DE I was ready to retire who is roughly the same. At least close enough that it shouldn't be a 47 sack differential.

About 25 of them were against gutted teams.
That still leaves a 20+ sack differential.

It boggles the mind. My DE got stoned by a level 12 tackle, but had 8 sacks in the playoffs against level 25-30 tackles. I mean...build and line general and all these things...okay. But there's definitely something screwy with this shit.

Look to your inside shoulder, is there a fat sack of crap doing absolutely nothing there or a big mean guy that has a tendency to distract the OT for you waiting to spring off the line?
Not everything is because of your build, and in case people were wondering, agility works nearly as well.
