After 2 successful years as the DC, the coach has stated that time constraints has been the main obstacle preventing him from returning next year. School will start for somecut8 in a week or so, and with the advent of the NFL season, somecut8 felt that he would not be able to do an adequate job coaching the talented squad Miami has. In the 2 year tenure as DC, somecut8 has helped coach the team to 13-3 and 14-2 records. With his aggressive schemes, the team has led the league in INTs in both these years.
Yeah, sorry guys (well I guess awesome news for you guys), it has been a great time as the DC for the Hurricanes, but I've found myself having less and less free time that I can use on GLB. With my college starting in a week, I've set some goals for myself in real life that I have to take care of. Got get get off some of my probations and such and get better grades... Also, with the actual NFL season starting - that being much more interesting than GLB in my opinion, I only have so much time that can be spent on sports.
It's been a great time playing with you guys, especially with the rivalries we've formed - especially against the Steel Riders, Bomb Squad, and former Chicago Storm. I had a great time here and hope you guys the best.
There's just not enough time for me to scout, recruit, and gameplan and still keep a productive life going, haha.
Hopefully my owner can find a good DC to take over for me.
I've had a great time coaching against you guys and you guys have made it really hard for a coach to be successful - that darn Ghetto Heisman... haha
Thanks again, and good luck next year.
Victor
P.S. Oh and this is why some of you guys may have saw my post asking for a list of well-known GLB players because I was trying to help find a potential successor.
