I have way too many plays lately where my receiver gets open very deep downfield. If I could complete some of these my QB would be amazing. I'm wondering if it's strength, throwing, or tight spiral I need more of. My strength is 49.64, my throwing is 80.68, my tight spiral is 6. Suggestions?

Neither of those recievers were open on that play.

Saftey probably should've picked that off.

I'm thinking it would have been best to hit up that WR that was short or the TE. I'm going to say vision.

First off the WR was open, just because the pass was deflected doesn't mean the receiver didn't have his defenders beat. It was definitely possible for the WR to make a catch if the ball gets to him considering he completely torched the CB and was a step or two ahead of the safety. Taking a chance on a WR in the end zone that is pretty much in single coverage and is out-running his defender isn't a bad idea if you have the arm to make the throw. Should the safety have picked the ball off? Maybe but only because the pass was off target or too short/low, hard to say for sure with a 2D replay.

If you want to complete passes to WRs that are 40 yards away from where the ball is thrown I think tight spiral will need to be a little higher (7-8) and more strength won't hurt either. The description of tight spiral specifically mentions it is very important on long passes and strength is pretty self-explanatory when it comes to passing distance and velocity. Throwing just plain helps passing, I can't say increasing it wouldn't help some, but if it is at 80 you will probably get more results out of increasing other stats. Vision might help your overall completions but isn't going to let you throw deep passes more on target like you want to.
