"Good game boston you out game planned us."

I think that is what you meant to say.

I'm starting to wonder if we are ever going to hear from TSE again.

What was the robot's name, the TSE3000? He's sitting in the corner repeating, over and over "error, does not compute"

HAL 2000, if you are talking about 2001.

Those running backs probably have 90 strength or some stupid shit.

We got beat by the f'ing PUMP FAKE today. Pretty lame to say the least.

Like I said, who ever exploits the flaws the best, wins. Great isn't it?

I didn't share anything...

It's just amazing at the whining you people do when you lose. You do realize other teams.. have other players.. with brains.. who are just as smart (if not smarter) than you, right?. Give people credit for beating you instead of trying to blame it on people 'exploiting.'

You got beat by a PUMP FAKE.. wow.. that's completely unheard of.. nobody EVER does that in real life.. it's just lame.. to say the least.

Pump fakes aren't lame. Running to the boards to hijack threads in an effort to whine about people 'exploiting flaws' is lame.

Just admit you got beat by a better team (on that day).

Since this may be easier to interpret.. basically, what I am saying to you.. is man up and grow a pair. Give credit where credit is due.. it will make you feel a lot better.

I think he is taking a break from this forum, I have seen him post a couple of times in the GLB forum, so that means he is still active at least.

I guess I dont really blame him for not posting here. If he is pissed, he needs to cool off, before he gets into unnecessary flame wars.

I kinda would like to hear his word on the situation, but I understand him not wanting to talk about it... even if he isnt pissed, he would get alot of crap for stating his thoughts.

Well since there are inquiries asking for my comments I will share them:

Yeah of course I am pissed that we lost. We felt we had the best team and we had expectations of winning it all, and so falling short at any point is a major disappointment.

That game was very boring and disinteresting. I do not feel that the Nighthawks cheated or broke the rules..., they did what they felt they had to do to win the game. They took advantage of certain benefits that come with running the ball an extreme amount. They aren't the first team to think of that. I've thought of that strategy myself and I've seen others do it before them. I would have done it myself if the end goal was to win at all costs, but I do not consider that an option for us as I am accountable to a lot of players on this team that deserve their fair share of the plays.

I will never run a 100% run offense or 100% pass offense in a playoff game, because if we are going to win we are going to win with intent of utilizing all of our players somewhat evenly. So if other teams want to continue a one-sided strategy to try and beat us, well that's their business, more power to them for pulling off the victory. It's just not how we roll.

(also lack of comments aren't because I have gone away, I have been speaking with Tricon over the phone)

Your team must have some really rampant egos if everyone cares so much about touches for their dots that you avoid optimal strategies to satisfy them.

And that must have been a long phone call!

Getting touches and participating in the game is important to some degree for everybody, but for the most part, my players don't have any quotas for touches for their dots. But I choose to care for them for their own benefit even if they don't speak up for wanting the ball. It's just a fun thing. If there was a setting on the AI that said to pull out a gun and snipe all of the opponents and automatically win, I wouldn't select it. It's more fun to win, as a team, with balance on all elements of the run/pass that football is all about. We aren't trying to win some crazy computer game, we are trying to beat everybody in a football simulation on all facets of the football experience.

Oh and yes it was a very long phone call, it always is with him, Tricon can talk forever once he gets going

Am I upset that we lost? Yes and No.

I more upset with the "sim". I have this notion that this is supposed to sim real football. In real football, you don't run 85%. You have to mix the pass in to be successful. In my anger, I wrote that I feel cheated. I still feel cheated, but cheated from the "spirit of the game". If that is going to be the state of GLB, I'm not sure I even want to continue playing even though I've been a successful agent since season 1.

I should have been more concise in my earlier post.

So, that, in a nutshell, is why I'm upset.

Since we are comparing to real football. The Steelers only passed for 30% of the time against the Texans the first game of the season. In fact I have seen games where Rothlesburger goes like 9 for 12 and they win. If they control the game with the run...they run it down your throat. Looks like you guys ended up being the Texans. Should the Steelers opponents cry about being cheated?

30%? What does 30% have to do with this game, where the ratio was 15%? Also, you do realize that in real football you have less plays than you do in a GLB game, so 9 for 12 isn't remotely close to the same thing.

Let's see Roethlisberger goes 13/14, and the Nighthawks go 11/13 in this game. Oh the NIghthawks had 74 rushes in this game. The Steelers had...let me look it up...39 rushes.

It wouldn't be a stretch for the steelers to have that 15% ratio at all. You know the whole excuses and assholes thing right. Your team lost it wasn't cheated. I can see you guys crying about it if your 12 years old but I think you guys are adults but it is hard to tell for sure.
