A fast D. Zone would work better but zone sucks. A 3-4 would also help. Just good linebackers with speed, agility, vision and tackling should get the job done. If you're outleveled, there's little you can do.

If They run it our of 3WR sets, I've always gone to dime and nickel packages. I have found that the 3-3-5 works well if the pitch it from I formations.
It also helps to step your CBs and OLBs to balanced.
I noticed that DEs evasive pass rushes help too.
This is just what I've done you should get more opinions.

I've been using 4CB sets against the 2WR pitch with reasonable success. Usually one CB is blocked by the WR while the other one is able to go for the HB.

You use a Dime defense against a 2 WR Set and it works? :o)
People should scout your team better. Runs up the middle would tear your defense up.

In theory, but there are no runs up the middle in the formation that I use this for. I've written a piece of software that analyzes play by plays, so by now I have a catalog of all the plays that GLB will run.

Not really, we need the advantage.
