I'm wondering what people's experience with DT has been with the new pass rushing setting. Does Elusive work if you have good agility? Seems to me like the online might be blocking you from being able to go around, but I don't know. Power seems like the most logical for DTs, but what if you have more agility than strength?

I don't know how elusive you can get when you're fighting through the center and a guard.

I think I've heard examples of DTs set on evasive where the dot just tried to run around the oline.
You should have your owner find some scrimmages, where you can try different styles.

Last 2 games I have been using evasive pass rushing style for my DT Zack Elwin and not a lot has changed. Still gets the same amount of tackles but a drop off in actual QB pressure. I haven't actually looked at replays so I don't know what exactly my guy is doing but statistically he has been much the same.

I play on balanced and have seen my guy try to run clear around the tackle with no luck. Before I hit lvl 24, I moved equipment around and jacked agility way up to try evasive, but had no luck so I switched it all back.
I think the DTs should use power. It may not help your (the DT) production, but it should help the D-Line as a whole. Here is my reasoning:
If you have competent DEs, they should be on Evasive and getting around the OTs a good bit of the time. If the DTs are pushing the Gs and C straight back or at least not giving up ground, the pocket will collapse and the QB will get sacked. Every time the DT pass rushes Evasive (which happens on Balanced as well), it can leave a hole in the middle of the pocket that the QB can step into (i.e. no sack).

Combo works well for my guy since he's strong and agile. I tried power for a few games and he did nothing (worse than before). Most linemen are very strong so I think probably pretty hard to power through. I plan on trying power again though in a scrimmage since my player has levelled up several times.
