Here's my stats:
Physical Attributes Football Skills
Strength: 48.46 Blocking: 7
Speed: 12.37 Tackling: 8
Agility: 15.65 Throwing: 12.37
Jumping: 12.37 Catching: 8
Stamina: 11.88 Carrying: 7
Vision: 27.54 Kicking: 67
Confidence: 56.95 Punting: 9

3-4-3

I'm pretty good actually right now, I've been perfect from 40+ recently and PAT's as well. So is vision really the next step? It's hard to really see anything that *needs* improvement with the recent results I've had.

Good build for a level 15. Kicking seems low, so does Vision...and i'd consider improving those two first. Improving them couldn't exactly make your Kicker worse.

Heh, well improving stats shouldn't make anyone worse, eh? There seems to be a vision threshold that I passed recently that allowed me to make the long FG's, and I hit that at about 25 vision I think. I'm training vision currently still, might let it go to 30 while I stockpile points and then work on a few points of stamina.

So I think since I'm good up to 50 yards now, what I should be working on is long kickoffs. I'm still struggling to hit 60 yards on those. I had thought that my STR would've helped, but I raised it 5 points last level and no difference in distance. So think that's a Kicking deal? or vision (although I can't understand why vision would have a difference on kickoff distance).

I'd say short kickoffs are Kicking based. You probably won't need much more than the 12 stamina you have now.

Once Vision is out of training range, start on Speed and Agility.

What about the kicking SA's? Do they work any better than SA's do for "normal" players?

If they only cost 2/3 SP, then they're more effective than getting a point in Strength. I don't know if they're more effective than other positions' SA's though.

Just an update....I raised my kicking 3 points, and kicked a 67 yard kick-off last game. The other ones the rest of the game were normal (55-60 yard) kicks, so maybe a breath/rng thing...but it surely helped.

I find that kickoffs are complete crapshoots. One game my kicker kicked 6 or 7 touchbacks, and two weeks later he kicked a string of 57 yarders in a row and only one touchback. When I see the short kickoffs happen soon after one another I think "yeah probably just tired", but then I've also seen my kicker make consecutive touchbacks in a short timespan. I'd say Kicking and Big Boot is the key to more touchbacks - your strength is already good for your level, to the point where it's probably more beneficial to raise big boot up two points than use the same amount of SP to just raise strength 3 points *shrugs*
