So I've got a relatively new DT who plays backup for a team, and I was wondering what a good ratio of snaps to tackles is for a DT. Currently I'm just over 10 snaps per tackle (with minimal misses) and I'm wondering if that's decent, regardless of build.

Hard to say, depends if teams attack you on the ground or through the air, and if they run it are they going inside or outside.

Exactly. Game stats can be lower/higher depending upon when you are subbed in and for what plays. Too many factors. The backs could have really low vision and are running to close or into you. I am not trying to say you have a bad player there are just too many factors to really say what are good averages per game.
